i still don't get it and its a issue i have during seedling and early veg. Can't get the measures right for a proper ppmHa.. I've done a bunch of reading and am pretty sure i understand now. I guess what was confusing me is when someone says 'use at half strength'. Half strength of what?
I now understand that the NPK numbers represent weight per volume and can calculate ppm and strength based on that.
The goal is to make solutions of 20-20-20 NPK and supplements (mg and ca) that WON'T kill a plant!
I'm pretty sure i have a handle on it now. It just took a few to sink in!
What are you having trouble with PK? I have done some pretty hard research into the nutrients and salts the last few months.i still don't get it and its a issue i have during seedling and early veg. Can't get the measures right for a proper ppm
im interested in the formula so i can apply it to megacrop. Jack's 321 and MC are equalI created a spreadsheet a while back that calculates elemental ppm for Jack's and to see how different ratios effect your theoretical ppms. Let me know if you're interested.
I would like to see it but is it any different than what Jacks is publishing?I created a spreadsheet a while back that calculates elemental ppm for Jack's and to see how different ratios effect your theoretical ppms. Let me know if you're interested.
Are your PPMs coming out lower than the posted values?im interested in the formula so i can apply it to megacrop. Jack's 321 and MC are equal
well it depends at the stage of plant life. seedling and early veg. YesAre your PPMs coming out lower than the posted values?
It's basically a spreadsheet that takes Jacks's guaranteed analysis from the labels, converts/breaks it out it to elemental ppm and let's you plug in different ratios by weight of part a, b, finish, and bloom. You get an idea how different ratios will effect ppm. drop me a PM and i'll send you a copy.I would like to see it but is it any different than what Jacks is publishing?
The one thing I am really liking about the jacks is the PPM Chart for each item. They offer that information, but if you have a spread sheet that is super helpful.
