Update . So a lot has haoenned since my last update . I induced 12-12 flowering for 5 days to induce flowering on autos that had still not shown preflowers. Once pistils/buds started to form , unstitched the the lights to 18/6 . Around 3 hours before lights out, the 2 largest plants leaves , especially in the high bud sites would wilt. At first i thought it could be temperature related however due to the recent cold weather . Lights on temps were 22 degrees. After much reading up on various forums about the subject , it seems some strains like to test before lights out as they can only use so much light . This makes sense as the strain comes from Alaska after all.
I switched the lights to 16/8 and things seem to be improving . There are no signs of trichomes as yet but this should hopefully change in the near future .

I’m a little bit disappointed with the amount of growth on the dark devil before it started to flower . This plant was transplanted a few weeks ago which may have slowed vegetative growth which will in turn effect yield. However the plant has doubled in size in the last week. It seem I have got the purple pheno which is great ! Can just about make out the subtle tinge in the buds .

Have been doing a lot of reading and I’m pretty sure the taco style leaf curl
On the larger 2 auto thunderfuck is due to a magnesium deficiency . Will be upping the dose ignite calmag and hopefully things will
Improve in quick time

Dark devil has tripled in height this last week and speed of. Bud development is very impressive . Also the purple Is showing already so reckon she is gonna be a beauty

Quick vid showing all the ladies. All are developing at different speeds. A little worried about the lack of trichomes as every other strain I have grown to date has shown an abundance of trichomes by this point however the original Alaskan thunder fuck is supposed to be sativa dominant - aparrantly trichomes can take longer to show .

Cheers bro . My auto tent hasn’t gone as smoothly as my photoperiod tent with the SkittleZ answer star dawg. However I’m hoping once I get on top of this calmag issue , the larger ATF will start looking happy And healthy .i have never grown autos so this has been a big learning curve .
The largest of the plants was started in its final pot and this is by far the biggest!!. It was also topped in a few places which worked really well despite people recommending against doing this with autoflowers.

The smaller plants were started in smaller pots and transplanted which stunted their growth .

I have also super cropped a few of the thunder fucks and have just super cropped the dark devil . Although this i Not recommended on autos, I have enough plants to experiment with and hopefully the results can help somebody else

Updated .

All seems to going well with lots of bud growth and plants looking really healthy , with the exception of the largest auto thunderfuck . This plant has had a problem with curling taco style leafs which has not changed . I have flushed the plant with ph water absolutely since fed with ionic bloom and calmag with an ec of 1.00.

As the other plants are thriving on the same strength nutes (even the smaller plant), I’m wondering if it’s something to do with genetics ? I may be completely off the mark here . Would appreciate some help and advice .

I have seen a lot of people with genetics that do that with the taco leaves. I also had something similar when my humidity was real low.

it’s around day 53 give or take for the dark devil auto.

Really pleased with the colours she is displaying so far and looking forward to how the buds develop.

She is a thirsty girl aswel.

After mildly super cropping the main stem , and it fully recovered nicely , I decided to have another go at super cropping however this time I went a bit far resulting in me having to use the only things to hand to repair her : string and matchsticks !!

Had been starting to worry about the fact that the auto thunderfuck was showing zero trichomes and had no smell despite the buds developing nicely.

On inspecting the plants today unnoticed that there were noticeable trichomes .

I took one of the larger plants out of the tent and also noticed a lovely smell which was not present previously (even when tuning fingers accross the buds)

I can’t find much online to compare these auithunderfucks to as not many people seem to have grown this strain so have no idea what these plants should look like etc at this stage !

I honestly donthinlnthatbitnisndoen tongenetics as I have tried everything , including changing PH, EC, flushing more cal mag . All the other autos in exactly the same conditions look super healthy . Quick update , DAY 68
the auto thunderfuck starting to put on some meat and developing more trichomes . Also the smell has changed from none existent to a lovely print smell . Unsure how long these are gonna take to Finnish . Have taken pics of one of the larger thunder fucks and she is developing nicely. Buds are also really solid to the touch
