This very much so!This.raise/turn down light
You say it's the same distance and power you use for hydro, but soil isn't hydro.
In the photos it looks like you just watering around the plant, as Nick said you've got to slowly wet the entire medium
coolThat was a pic I took yesterday same plants .they were in veg for 4 weeks , the over watering fckd me up abit . Its so easy to do when you have them in big pots to start off with , definitely going back to hydro after this grow
Hope so . The smell is unreal, can't wait to get it finished and have a tokthose buds are going to be worth the wait
Honestly I experienced a lot of bulk in the last couple weeks of flower before. Your buds could continue to swell. When a cultivar gives flowering time, I’ve found some people disregard that in a strict sense of a time limit to go by. Instead use it as an abstract idea of when some seeds will be done. Look at the trichomes to check ripeness. The posted information of flowering time is an average the cultivar has found in their strain.Week 7 day 3 of flower . Tbh I thought they would bulk out more the smell is nice with lots of frost but was hoping for a bigger yeild
There not ready yet .checking everyday with the jewlers loup. They've still got a week or so 2 go, gonna start the flush on Friday, I will put some pics up just b4 chop and give you guys a final weight. As I've said im usually a hydro guy haven't done a fully organic soil run for years , but compared to hydro soil isn't the best for yeild just have to wait for the smoke testHonestly I experienced a lot of bulk in the last couple weeks of flower before. Some phenotypes will take a little longer. Until you have a group of plants all taken from the same clone genetics you will experience different harvesting times for a strain. Depending on the uniformity of the genetics you could have a few day difference up to a week apart.
If you don’t have a dedicated drying space I’d just check all the plants trichomes everyday at the eight week mark if it’s an 8-9 week flowering time strain. Then decide when they all look good to harvest. They should finish out pretty close in terms of trichome ripeness. What will be fun is if you can keep your plants seperated and labeled all the way from harvest and dry in the tent. Then to the cure in a labeled glass jar and the smoke report. Then you can expedience the subtle differences between each phenotype.
If you really wanted to do a little phenotype hunt you would want to keep one clone of each strain before flip. Let it veg then take another clone off each. Then when you get your smoke report complete and pick which plant you like the best you could clone from that.
I’ve had some success with bubba cheesecake and blue dream being a high yielder. Og kush I think gave me a high yield as well
If you were to veg for four weeks in hydro then flower how much would a plant yield do you think? There not ready yet .checking everyday with the jewlers loup.
