Hi guys I've had an absolute disaster of a grow this time and now the final nail in the coffin. I'm guessing bud rot I noticed a bud had completely died along with the rest of the bud on that small branch. This purple dawg is only a week off coming down but my blue dream in the same tent has another 2ish weeks to go I've snipped away the dead bud and the rest looks fine but will it spread ?

I’m not sure, I have only had minimal experience with it. I’m sure more will chime in and be more help.

As long as you cut and contained the rot you found and got it away from your plants you should be ok to finish. Just be looking hard for it over the next 2 weeks or until you finish.

Definitely remove the infected bud, try to take off about 2 or 3 inches below where the rot stops to be sure you are rid of it. Be very vigilant the next few weeks, also take a close look at every bud when you trim because it could be inside the bud and it hasnt come to the surface just yet.

Best of luck.
