So I'm sitting here smoking with my ladies and I notice these white spots on the leaves. I sprayed with neem oil thursday because there was fruit flies on the leaves and they didn't like it. They got all droopy for awhile but they bounced back so I wasn't too worried. Now these white spots. Are they gonna be alright?

I’m no fan of neem oil it makes the trim useless as it will taste of neem oil.
The fruit fly’s maybe gnats in the soil the best way to deal with them are nematodes

https://www.dragonfli.co.uk/products/fungus-fly-killer-gel-nematodes

You can also find them on Amazon if your not uk based or would rather buy from there albeit there more expensive on Amazon.

The white spots I can’t see can you post a better view of the spots it would suggest bugs.

as much as I loathe neem oil it would of killed any bugs proper use would be to neem oil spay again in 3 days and again 3 days after that

Personally I would use predators that said a better view would actually help figure if you do have bugs before spaying anything

Others may see better

Those plants are maybe too young to be spraying neem on them, in my opinion.

I like neem but I only use it outdoors.

I think I figured it out. I sprayed with neem oil in the morning like it said on bottle. My led light burned them I think.

Well here it is my bug prevention
I use Bifen xts as an insecticide around my home. Kills wasps fire ants etc. I also spray this all around my plants o
Not on them but walls floor once I see any sign.
My outdoor one gets a ring about 10’ sprayed.
Never had a bug problem

I also use a lot of airflow. I have a 4” fan sucking in outside air, a fan inside and a 4 “ pulling out

Fungus gnats could be from damp soil, same as the spots. Wait til the cup is lighter to water, use a scale if possible to weigh the cups.

Ok cool there pretty dry now I haven't watered for 7 days. Do you think the damage is going to stunt them.

Not if the new leaves are healthy. Neem could have something to do with it too.

I think it’s good to get a cheap moisture tester stick it in tells you how much is in soil

You seem to have figured it on your own it’s why they also look kinda burnt.

You haven’t watered for 7 days! If thats right you were definitely overwatering and I highly agree with getting a moisture meter.

Drying the roots out to much isn’t a good way to get rid of gnats going forward the roots dry up and the gnats love eating dead roots. It might kill a few gnats however it won’t kill the eggs.

If your not seeing any then you maybe good just keep a eye out as it’s the adults that fly if your seeing then on the plant you can bet there in the soil.

Never foliar spray in the sun or when the lights are on.

Few things. You have too much N or nutrients in general, you have leaf burn and twisting going on. Too young. The brown spots could one of the following: nutrient burn, light burn when you sprayed the neem, the neem itself was too intense for the seedling, you have a Mg defiency and/or overwatered. Or all the above.
