They are fungus gnats, about 1000X easier to deal with. They are really just a nuisance

I agree with Mal and Motherlode...fungus gnats. I grow soil and get them alot, not much of a problem and you will definitely get them with Azatrol. I just spray my girls with some Neem oil, damn them for being so freaking attractive! But yeah, I'd go with a more natural treatment and not using anything harsh cause as long as you keep them in check they won't bother your grow. I think we forget how many crawlies the plants have on them out there in the woods.

If you do want them gone like yesterday though, just stick up some of those yellow fly tapes and you'll get the adults. If you're going to use Azatrol do a root drench because the eggs are laid in your soil, not your leafs. That will get the babies. To keep them out of your grow permanently you have to watch your overwatering and you can get some predatory mites from the net that will patrol your pots as your own platoon of blood-crazed marines. I knew a guy once that kept a chameleon in his garden. They work well and you are providing trichome heaven to the wildlife. Win-win.

Thanks for the help guys. I'm gonna do a Azatrol drench on my coco tonight. I'll post the results in a week or so.

pretty sure this will cover you 100%. its granular and u add it to ur medium before u even plant ur seed or clone. its awesome for root aphids but it takes care of everything im almost positive about that. maybe someone can chime in and give a lil more info or just do a search.
peace
