At 50% humidity and 78 degrees, you are at the high end of VPD. Anything over 78 and you are in the red…VPD wise. You could either lower your temp or raise humidity. If you raise humidity be sure you have a fan moving the plants around a little. I would lower your temps and take the pressure off the plants.

Yeah I’ve been looking at vpd and noticed that it was high causing the plant to transpire too much causing them to uptake more nutes . I may have to get a portable ac. Thanks

vpd is not causing the issues.

Let me preface this post by saying this is LITERALLY my very first post on this site. I'm sure I'm a n00b compared to other guys, but I am consistent in my methods and for the most part successful.

Have you ever tried a plain old traditional grow? What I'm getting at is that I think maybe you should try your hand at developing some fundamental/basic cannabis grows to make sure you get that right, and then try with the more complicated stuff.

I've had a couple times where I saw those symptoms, but they never got very far. My suspicions are something in your growing medium. Try regular old fashioned FoxFarm and regular tap water. Sometimes less is more, I guess?.

Plants should be drinking the heaviest in flower. If theyre not drinking its due to either too high of an ec (overfeeding), ph issues, or bad watering habits.



In the future make sure you take pics of the lower fans, they can tell you right away whether you’re facing a simple deficiency (for mobile nutrients).


With the ppms youve given i would say that the plant is hungry. Also, try to keep your nutrient lines dedicated. They make all their products (base/calmag/boosters/etc) with ratios formulated to work well with one another. Ratios are more important than amounts. If these are off it will lead to lock outs and have you chasing your tail.


With your watering habits and issues i would suggest giving coco a shot. Its more work and measurement, but coco is much more forgiving than soil when it comes to watering and flushing. You learn alot about plant nutrition and needs. You can quickly flush if you overfeed and you can feed more if hungry. The issue is fixed the next day alot of the time



If you want to stick with soil i would suggest something like gaia green, down to earth, or roots organic.

I'm gonna throw this out, what kind of light and how high above the plants is it? It really look like there's some light bleaching going on, may not be the only issue, but it's a contibuter.

It would seem fundamentals have, for the most part gone out of style.

So you have this problem with photos early to mid flower. Always early to mid flower. Doesn't happen in veg it only happens early to mid flower.

This is the answer to your question.

What happens early to mid flower?

This is when buds start to develop , do you know what happens when the plant starts to develop buds?

It needs more nutrients as it is building buds not leaves.

I would suggest when you see this issue to increase feed. 1/2 more or even twice as much.

I listened to some people on here when I was having this issue, they always told me to reduce feed and that always made it worse. Or they would tell me to do a cal mag flush and it would make it worse. Or they would say your over watering and to reduce the volume of water/feed I have them, would.make it worse.


Once I increased feed by 1/2 when problem started (early to mid flower) the problem would stop.

People try to help on here but it's a difficult thing to do. Your growing big plants lots of branches, which means lots of buds, which means it needs a lot of nutes.

1 vote for increasing feed.

Hey brother. I believe I can help you here. Flush and find a one part nutrient. When you are new keep things as simple as possible. Organic gardening is a little more complicated than synthetic. K I S S . Good luck in the garden brother

It seems like it, looking at these forums. You know my first grow went almost perfect and that was actually bad. I think I got too cocky and ended up getting sloppy then realizing I wasn't as good as I thought I was, hehe. I had to screw up a little bit without relying on luck and get a consistent pattern going (which I have at this point). But, I only do very basic stuff. Plain FoxFarm soil. Tap water (too lazy too mess with PH stuff). Some pretty cheap lights.

The stuff still comes out great. Not sure if OP has the impression that in order to get anything of value, he must do the more advanced stuff. I guess I'm just here to tell him I don't think that's the case.

I do think I need to work on my harvesting/drying techniques though.

where's located your temperature probe in the tent ? near plant tops ? if not check the temperature there

look a little like manganese toxicity that could be triggered with heat stress. but not sure
