Hi just veging my 1st grow 1.2x1.2x2 meter tent only 5 of the little fellas im using a 1000watt led light what light cycle do you guys recommend? 24/0 or 18/6

Personally I like giving the plants a dark period, I've always adhered to an 18/6 light cycle. It's what fits my grow style and plants are happy.

18/6 always worked well for me.

What light you using ? Chances are it’s not 1000 watts.I would question if your going to have enuff light.
And plants need a resting /sleep period 18/6 no question

I use 18/6 but during the winter months I'll go 20/4 because I need the heat from the lights. If it gets really cold I'll run them 24/7 if I have to just for their heat.

The whole video is good, but he mentions that data indicates 24 hours could be benificial during veg @28:52.

I looked couldn’t find exact specs - but typically that light would 100 or 150 true watts - to grow cannabis effectively you need imo about 30 watts a square ft. Your space is 9/10 square feet so need at least 270 true watts , I think you will need more light

Thankyou mate is it okay to mix hps and led? my plan was to veg with this light then add a 600w hps for bloom

That sounds like a good plan - should be able to dial the hps back a bit , good luck and happy grows
