I had a recent bad experience with a clone from a trusted source??? after looking it over and putting it in my bloomroom ( 2 week rotation) 6 weeks of flowers were fertilized. Montana Biotec offers a sex test and service for a fee of course that they claim is accurate, and doable eary after germination. Now that I'm doing seed stock, I need to prevent another disaster! I'm interested in opinions and or solutions or chatter.

Clones are the best bet but even them have gave false confidence...cannabis is ecological and its environment changes therefor effects and results within plants change

How can they do that test and would it destroy the seedling? I don't think there is an easier way to do it than wait a month until they show their sex. . . Or take clones, and put them in a rooting tray under 12/12 from the start. That will show you what they are. If you're super paranoid and reaaaaally need females, there are plenty of feminized bastard seeds.

They would just keep coming, it would become a full time job and you would still end up with seeds most likely. At week 3 you haven't lost a lot of time, just yank them and replace with something reliably heterosexual.

Check EVERY nug of every branch of every plant and cull every plant that shows male sex organ as soon as you find one cull it and then Maybe you prevent seeds but there still possible seeds from other environmental stresses not to mention pollen in air hair and pets of your own or friends or neighbors.

Whoa pets can cause herms? And made the decision to finish running everything I had due to the caddy they were the only mature plants I had at the time. Seeded or not I still am able to get a fair price. But I culled their cloned copies

I keep my pitbull away from my ladies. Homie don't play that. I think my probelm is a matter of a early light leak from my act , high ppms "900-1000", or high Ph run off using jacks "6.5"

I'm assuming your running coco considering 6.5ph is high to you. I run jacks at the same ppm which is recommended (1tspn/gal) and I haven't any issues with herms. But if you think its the ph then I'd say the plant is not stable enough for everyday stress. I would expect lock out first.

I wouldn't rush to conclude that your trusted source is sour.
From what I understand, and have seen, small insults can cause a plant to bust out some anthers.

Ran these clones twice now and both times seeded up, never had a problem in 5 years, then these came home. Had to go to a commercial clone supplier! Oh well, I just had to have GSC!
