Hey everyone. I’m Anita. Just signed up because I have a question about yellow spots on my blue dream leaves. This is my second grow with blue dream and the first one had about a quarter ounce yield. It was very short. the second plant is also small, about 17 inches tall, and has nice fat buds at 18 weeks. About two weeks ago the leaves started to develop tiny yellow brownish spots and now pretty much all the leaves have them any idea what this is?

I’m growing in fox farm soil and feeding tiger bloom 284 fertilizer. My light is a spider farmer SF 1000.

Let's see what @Shaded_One thinks... is it just a calcium deficiency?

Also are you growing auto flowers?

Welcome to the farm! @2Bad asked above but are those blue dream autos? Is the fox farms tiger bloom all you are feeding them, how often, how much? . What fox farm soil specifically are you growing in? I’m sure there will be more questions but this will help get some answers started

Yes, it’s feminized auto flower. The seeds were a year old when I planted them so I was thrilled they sprouted at all.

Thanks! Yes, I only fed her tiger bloom, about every other watering. I have not been particularly scientific about this. I’m super busy with my artwork so I’m doing the best I can and learning along the way. The yellowing did start shortly after I fed her a couple of weeks ago. I suspected then it may have been too much. But it could be anything. I tried to only water once the soil had dried out and then water thoroughly but even that was somewhat irregular.

lovely of this chart to just omit certain elements completely :p Calcium apparently doesn't exist.

I hate Fox Farms. I hate Fox Farms. I hate Fox Farms

Okay now that we got that out of the way... @2Bad probably correct leaning towards Cal def and possibly some other slight defs nearing end of flower especially if all you've been feeding is the tiger bloom. Are you using tap water? RO water? Distilled? How far away from your plant is your SF1000?

I know but it's the best chart that I have found so far regardless of how limited it is. These issue are the most common.

The leaves look intact and I don't see spider webs so this has to be something in the soil. OP what size pot is this plant in? Watering frequency? I'm thinking some sort of lockout......

literally just calcium :p won't be enough in the 2-8-4 hence why I supplement with Gypsum right from the first transplant every 2 weeks that's even using straight tap water with all the goodies

although this plant is a year old as she said...soooo you may be onto something as well, most likely a combination of factors

I am all good with fox farms. Used it many times.
That being said never used Tiger Bloom.
Read horror stories about it.
Your pot is too small and if you only offered TB then the plant has many deficiencies.
Being an auto with 90% red pistils I wouldn't throw much at it now.
And that chart?? Wholly pre school drawings!

By the way, I read tons of articles and searched for photo examples of diseased leaves that looked like mine (including that chart) and couldn’t find the exact same yellow spotting pattern anywhere.

can you take a couple pictures of the underside of the fan leaves?

i use FF trio, and use clear syringes because the nutes go bad and even come in bad

is it still clear and neonish green? even with tiger bloom i supplement with ca mg additive. (botanicare or sensi ) they could've added more to tiger bloom but they'd rather sell 2312312312312312321 bottle kit and rape your wallet

and one last question, this is in no way meant to be offensive, you haven't been foliar feeding it any tiger bloom right?

That's what it looks like to me too but with them that bad you'd see webs for sure....look closely at the underside for moving black spots...a magnifying glass may scare the shit out of you if it is spider mites....I shiver as I type.....
