Hi I’m a very green grower here. My second harvest the first I took down too early I want to make sure that these are ready before I chop it also the rain damaged one pretty bad. It was down not completely broken, but almost I’m not sure if it’s if I should cut it now because I’m not too sure if it’s quite ready. I need someone to please help me.

Can you give a macro pic of the trichs on the buds
Not the sugar leaves as the trichomes on sugar leaves turn earlier than the buds do

I tried zooming in but I couldn’t see enough properly to say

From what I can see I’d guess not yet but a marco shot of the trichs might change that

Others might have a better eye mind

I'd say it's a little early still but the bud doesn't look too bad if weather or rain forces harvesting.

Go longer if you can

Yeah I wouldn’t worry about the marco shot

Well it is early but most seem to be reporting cold/bad weather so at this time of year that comes in to play but it looks like it will give some sweet smoke even for an early harvest, maybe the lowers need longer but it is what it is sometimes God calls time before we wantm

Hey Newbiehere, it looks as though your plant is kind of in the same time line as mine. I plan on going at least two more weeks to get my trichs a little more amber. I have a jewelers loop and it is a big help in determining when to harvest.

It’s a bit early there’s still a lot of clear trichs.

If you want a head high then wait till the majority are milky

If you want a body/head high wait till you’ve got some amber

Well the rain forced harvest in one of them yesterday and I decided to harvest the other 2 also. I got the loop and it looked ready to go. We shall see in a couple of months . Thanks for your help
