New to the site, and to gardening :) I'm actually here out of frustration and necessity really, as the only product I can get is low grade, of unknown variety and expensive. And that's when I can find someone who has anything, which hasn't been for months! So I've decided the only thing I can really do to ensure a decent quality reliable supply is grow a little myself.
To begin with I'm looking to get an Indica dominant hybrid (for relief of body pain and reduce anxiety) and ideally as feminized seed as I'm not trying to breed. I've never grown before, so anyone have suggestions on just what I should buy to fit my grow space - a cabinet - which is pretty limited at 2' by 3' with a max of 30 inches of clearance from the top of the hydroponics to the glass of the main light when at its highest. For light I went with a 400w HPS and two 2' T5 to supplement, and I hope to also have a CO2 supply by the time I start up.
In addition to seed variety suggestions, I'd love to get an idea on just how many seeds to plant at once. I have a copy of Ed Rosenthal's grower's handbook, which has been quite enlightening, but he only really touches on small space growing, and I have no idea how large things will get. Another seed choice factor is that I'd also like to juice the foliage after harvest, I've read that it has good (non-psychoactive) medicinal benefits, has anyone ever tried this?
