This is the second plant same issue. Grown in Ocean Forrest soil. PH’ing water at about 6.6. I was adding 2 tsp Cal/Mag, 2 tsp tiger bloom and 2 tbsp Big Bloom since flower. No nutrients before flower. Getting a little frustrated because can’t really figure out issue. Now believing that maybe because I’m using well water with higher iron that it may be blocking out other nutrients?? May try distilled water? Anybody have any suggestions.

Helps if you tell us what the plant is doing...picture maybe? If you are adding all of that to a single plant, you might be over doing it...?

I think I posted twice and pics in the other thread and can’t figure out how to delete this one. Not sure what the hell I did. Either way attached pics. Leaves are getting brown spots. Thought it was cal deficiency initially but adding cal mag didn’t seem to help

Any suggestions from added information below? Full story is bought seeds and planted three varieties that were not supposed to be autos. One was so I switched from 18-6 to 12-12 after only 5 weeks veg on this plant which is a photo. Hind sight I should have just stayed at 18-6. Either way both plants started getting the brown spots about 2 weeks into flower. The auto had not had any nutes when it started spotting. This plant was given the nutrients listed above and still saw the same issue…

Pictures would be helpful.

Sorry I see them posted above. The first two are of this plant which is an Alaskan Thunder Fuck photo and the last two are of a Northern Lights auto…. Look like exact same issue

My mistake. You did post them. I thought those pics were posted by someone else. I haven't had my coffee yet.

I can think of two possibilities: Too much moisture in the soil and calcium deficiency. What are you feeding it and how often do you water?

I was feeding about 1.5L water every two days. So about 3x’s per week but plants never felt overwatered but I am no expert. One time a week I was feeding 2 tsp’s cal mag, 2 tsp tiger bloom and 2 tbsp big bloom. Last feeding I fed 3L water ph’d about 6.6 3 days ago to flush and soil still feels damp this morning and plant feels heavy so I wasnt planning on watering again until it felt dry.

The leaves look a little puffy to me, which is an indication of water retention, so letting the soil dry till lower leaves wilt slightly might help. Do you know the VPD or the temperature and humidity?

I attached the averages over the last week.

I attached the averages over the last week.
The maximum and minimums seem extreme, but the averages look okay. I was just wondering if the leaves were having trouble transpiring. VPD indicates how well they can transpire. VPD=1.40 is perhaps slightly high, but probably okay when they're flowering. High VPD values raise a plant’s transpiration rate and increase nutrient movement through vascular tissue.

Controlling VPD at day and night both seem difficult. I put a small heater in the ten set to 66 degrees and unfortunately even at the lowest seating it jumps the temp to around 80 when triggered and then the temp glides back down over a 45 minute period.

During daylight my VPD is high but with my light at 100% the temp is around 76 and to lower the VPD I didn’t really want to take my RH above 50%.

VPD matters most when the light is on. That's when transpiration is at its highest rate.

RH in the mid 50s is okay. Optimal settings depend on the life stage of the plant. Heaters (and humidifiers) are either on or off. That's why the temperature (or humidity) varies as it does. Some controllers have buffer settings to control how often the devices switch on and off. I have my heater buffer set to +/- 2º with the temperature set to 77º.

However, I don't think your controller settings are the problem. I just thought it was worth checking.

Thank you. I will let these guys dry out for a couple more days.

My northern lights is still flowering pretty well despite the issues ive caused with her so hopefully she finishes out.
