I'm gonna be installing a CAP 24 Light controller and am looking for the easiest, cheapest, and 'cleanest' way to install a high temp shut off and time delay ON. CAP also sells a device () to do it but I'd rather not install a separate box with receptacle just to plug the device into. I use Aube timers currently to fire my relays. I'm thinking I'll just buy the CAP device, take the 'guts' out of it's little box, cut a hole or two in the CAP controller panel, and hard wire it myself. Anyone ever seen the insides of one of these things or have other suggestions? I know about time delay relays and that I also can use a regular 120v Heater thermostat but that's not how I want to do it. I also don't want the cost or complexity of the Siemens Logo devices either. All input appreciated. Thanks

that CAP controller has either 1 or 2 trigger cables...I use the cap high temp shutoff before the triggers...

Ditto, I split my 2 8 light timers onto separate high temps shutdowns and staggered the lights like a checkerboard. Both CAP units are plugged into a small UPS to keep the timers accurate even with a power failure.
