I'm looking for some better strains. Since moving to a medical state, I've grown out various local cuts, some I like, most I'm not impressed with, almost all are pretty low yielding so far. My experience is with UK Cheese, East Coast Sour Diesel, and DJ Short Flo. So far, Sensi Seeds Hash plant is the only strain I can get 1 lb. per 1000w HPS, everything else comes in at about 1/2 of that. I'm not too fond of the Sensi HP, so I am looking for some other good to great yielding strains that are worthy in a competitive market. I do have the Cherry Indica AK-47 pheno, giving her a run soon, heard she's supposed to yield.

Basically, I am looking for good quality genetics with strong yields and I'm sick of getting local cuts. I am willing to order some seeds or try to get pointed in the right direction from anyone who has comments or ideas!

For those of you that might comment negitively, saying I'm just a "cash cropper" or beasters, this is incorrect. I am focused on quality, I have just been unhappy with 1/4 gram per watt and I think I can improve not only my environment, but my choice of strains. I am still seeking quality, and that is the reason I am starting this thread.

Here, to give you an idea visually:

This is my DJ Short Flo:

We had 12 of her going and they all got nice and fat:

Our haul:

All 12 plants, dried and cured, shriveled up to 1 1/2 lbs. If that was a pure indica it would have been 3 lbs...and it looked like 3 lbs! Fluffy nugs I guess....

Not really speaking from experience but for my money I would check out some of Sannies seeds.

Killing Fields is said to be a very high yield strain and the Hericules looks very good too.

I'd have a look at your grow style

I am a med grower, and get 2+ with the UK Cheese all day - everyday ,and every grow I set up ,seen it done with anywerz from 2-6 plants per light ,this is in multi light rooms ,single light rooms are getting just under 2ps a light..

problems not with your strains ,it's how your growing them

it's not the cheese that makes those numbers, its the grow style,I've done it with 10 different strains ,maybe 20 ,I dont keep track

I'm not sayn mines the best by any means, just a KISS (KeepItStupidSimple) method that works from first time growers,to seasoned veterens looking for a change..

couchlockcafe <<Im not tryn to veer ya away from here, many many better growers then I right here on the Farm, nor am I trying to spam you to a different site, just telln ya the way I see it from one med grower to another

best of luck to ya! educate yourself and keep it simple and do what works

no man,in and out vents
big containers of rockwool
vertizontal hoods
DM Gold nutes
decent environment
T5 for veg ,then a weeks worth of veg under the 1k
9weeks of bloom and waa laa,you got 2P's of cheese, and I mean all heads ,not including all the popcorn crap ya get to make hash with ,or do what ever ya want with that adds up to another 1/4 P or so

that's the jist of it,get the plants big and shape them a bit ,I like 3 plants per 1k light ..

no crazy training ,or screens ...just a tomato cage and some green twisty tie stuff

Which Cheese cut do you have? I have the Exodus cut, low yield. What kind of grow style are you doing? SOG? Larger space? Its easy to maximize a small space, 2 lights. 16 lights is another story, especially with worry of mites and mildew and connoisseur strains.

My final hope for yield is this "Sour Fuck"

There are others calling the Greenhouse or Big Buddha Cheese "The Cheese", or "UK Cheese", etc, and people get confused. Exodus refers specifically to the clone only. I am pretty sure those cheese seed lines were bred to increase the yield on the original clone-only.

For sure. Been doing this a while, but there is always room to learn. Like I said, with my Sensi Seeds Hash Plant, I hit the 1 lb. per light marker no problem. The Flo was a super low yielder, but as you can see from the pics, its worth it! If I just fine tune the room a bit, get some more heat out of there, veg longer, and cram a few more in there a bit tighter, I should be able to hit some nice numbers in there.

To be honest I haven't give the ECSD a full good run on its own, its been sharing space with others here and there, and haven't ran her since I got all my root rot in check, since she seemed more prone to it. Got a run of her coming up soon!

i mostly grow medical plants hear are some of the best

iv been growing medical strains for over 10 years, hears some of the best yelding and best hitting plants iv grew: pure afghan . white gold . ice cream . cronic . blue mystic . og chush . red chees . candy chush . the best out of these would be the white gold, iv never seen a plant take to toping like it, on average i would get betten 7 to 14 onces off one plant, which is good but the best bit is the time need'd to get the plant to make that, normaly i would top a plant 5/6 times and would take about 2 mouths to veg the plat ready for 12/12 from seed but with this plant it only takes about 1 mounth to 6 weeks tops and is quick to start flowering and will only take about 6/7 weeks to grow fully for the choop, the outher thing i love about this plant is the hit you get from it, its up there with train wreck and croinc and og chush and thats saying somthing, im sure that if you put down one of these you will never look back, hope this helps and good luck with all your grow's :friday:

The Sage is a great medicinal strain, and it yields like crazy.. Friend of mine regularly pulls 15+ oz per plant indoors..
