Greetings Farmers!
Many years of work put into this mix.
Constantly trying to make it better.
A friend who runs another site asked me to post this on his site
so I figured I would post it all over.

Medium: Sunshine Mix #4 preferred or ProMix BX with added perlite

Nutrients:
Starting water is RO water at 0ppm
In order per gallon

60 day flower chart

Humisolve Humic Acid 1.25 ml every 5 days
Subculture B Every transplant and every 20 days after

VEG: (from freshly rooted clones to flower, any length veg cycle)
GH Micro 6ml
GH Bloom 9ml
Bio Root 10ml
Floralicious Plus 1ml
Green Fuse Grow 4ml
Roots Excel 1.1ml
Hygrozyme 1ml
Fulvic Acid 5ml

Flowering Days 1 through 10
GH Micro 6ml
GH Bloom 9ml
Bio Root 10ml
Floralicious Plus 1ml
Green Fuse Bloom 4ml
Roots Excel 1.1ml
Hygrozyme 1ml
Fulvic Acid 10ml

Flowering Days 11 through 20
GH Micro 6ml
GH Bloom 12ml
Bio Root 10ml
Floralicious Plus 1ml
Green Fuse Bloom 4ml
Roots Excel 1.1ml
Hygrozyme 1ml
Fulvic Acid 10ml

Guano Tea one time between day 15-20 in flower
Fox Farm Happy Frog Bat Guano 1/2 cup per gallon of water
15ml Earth Juice Catalyst
Mix for about an hour feed

Flowering Days 21 through 39
GH Micro 6ml
GH Bloom 12ml
Hydroplex 3ml
Flora Nectar 8ml
Green Fuse Bloom 4ml
Fulvic Acid 10ml

Flowering Days 40 through 45
EJ Micro 5ml
GH Bloom 12ml
Hydroplex 2ml
Flora Nectar 8ml
Green Fuse Bloom 4ml
Fulvic Acid 15ml

Flowering Days 46 through 50 then flush for 10 days
EJ Micro 5ml
Green Fuse Bloom 2ml
Fulvic Acid 10ml

Notes:

The Fulvic Acid is Ful Power by Bio Ag.
EJ Micro is Earth Juice Micro.
GH Micro and Bloom are General Hydroponics.
Roots Excel is Roots Excelurator but you can use Humboldt Roots just as well.

Alone BioRoot (also known as Flora Blend) does great.
Also alone Roots Excelurator does great.
Together those products get me roots like never before.
Highly recommend this combo.

Thanks for sharing. Got a few questions for you.
Do you find nute levels increase with c02?
How did you determine going up to 15ml per gallon with the fulpower was sufficient?
would love to know how to do a test like that and determine what amounts to max out at?
What is a typical week on this plan? What I am trying to ask is: what type feed/water schedule is followed?
mind sharing an example.. sunday - water, monday - feed, tues, etc.

Bioroot sounds good. Any tip on your testing methods would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Lead

Thanks for the questions.

I water everday and feed with every watering.
Always about 30-60 minutes after lights on.
Ive used this feed on large plants in 27 gallon containers and little ladies in 3 gallons.

Grown in both sealed rooms and active air exchange rooms.
In both cases I did not see any increase in nutrient uptake.

With Ful Power Ive tried without, 10ml, 15ml,20ml, 30ml.
From the tests I didnt see any improvements over the 15ml ladies and the 30ml ladies.

When I test products I change one veriable at a time usually in a side by side.
Tests have been done by me and by associates.
Gone through just about every nutrient company out there.
Nice to have friends who own garden stores and community web sites.
Easy to get results from a large base.

That said this mix has not been tested in hydro and only lightly in coco.

If I understand correctly, there was a side by side. Some plants got 30ml and some got 15ml, there was no improvement in the plants that received 30ml per gallon?

What type of improvements did you see? (i.e. faster flowering, larger flowers, more yield, or better quality)

You mention mycos but I do not see a myco product listed.
Have you tried VAM & Activator by bioAG?

Excellent, I find getting the same feedback is helpful.

do you compare weights, heights, what do you compare? Do you take it to the same level as a science experiment? Documentation? (photos logs etc)
Is this the same strain repeated in your tests?

Hope I am not asking too many questions, Looking for more ideas of what helped you in testing. If it is easier to give a example scenario, that is helpful.

Good to know, do not see why it would not work out. Coco may need to add some cal/mg and would probably be fine. (depending on water source)

I personally would like to see more tests of products like growmore, bioAG, ENP, epsoma, etc.

Much like looking at a food product in the shelf, I like reading the labels and examine the cost per application, the concentration etc.

Thanks,

Good questions :)
Yup, I did a side by side with some receiving none some at 10ml, some at 15ml, 20ml, and some at 30ml.
The quality improved around the 15ml mark but after that there wasnt any noticable benefit.
Frostier with better swelling. No noticable differance in yield.
Tests in Veg only shown minimal benefits in speed of growth but none in girth.

Havent tried VAM or Activator but have seen them and would like to try them.
The Myco I use comes from Myco Apply.
I didnt list a product as I know opinions very but I like the cost of Myco Applys.

Thanks Lead for asking really good questions.
I appreciate that you wanted to know about my methods.

Side by sides were done with the same strain for each test though not every test used the same strains to test with.
Usually the tests were done with Bubba Kush or DrFunk.
Pictures were taken and notes documented
but after years of tests I end up throwing away most notes.
Side by sides were done with companies like H&G, AN, Botanicare, FF etc.
One brand I would like to compare to would be BioCanna. Seen great results.
This mix was mainly tested with adjustments and side by side with an Earth Juice mix I worked on.
After time, results were very consistant between the EJ and GH mixes.
A differance in quality and yield was noticed when compaired to HG, AN, FF, Botanicare, Organicare, General Organics, Cutting Edge, Humboldt, etc.
Took a lot of time comparing products like PK boosters, sweeteners, etc.
The best part about it all is that most of the product line ups have been free :)

Test in coco have shown good results wthout any need of a Cal/Mag
but only tested in Botanicare coco and only a couple times
and the water source was plain tap water. Not RO or well water.
Lots of veriables still to work out but not planning any coco grows in the near future.

Took a lot of research from the ground up to understand what the ingrediants inside the bottles are.
Glad I have as it helped me understand the plants needs a lot better.
With all the products that share similar ingrediants from the same source
it helped me to find reliable and cost effective products from companies like BioAg.
Every product I test I go to the state DOA to findout heavy metal content
and any other information they list.
So much work but the preporation has been well worth it.

Never too many good questions :)

why did you add your hyrozyme back in at week 4?
kinda curious, i herd it produces nitrogen and ive had some problems with to many budsites on some of my hybrids so i cut it beginning week 5
never seen any problems on some of my more stable strains but after i cut my hydrozyme in week 4 ive never had a problem

Hey HB, we do need to meet up and get that beer. After reading all of this, I think I would like to try this out on a few of my Coco setups. Understanding what is inside the bottles would be very helpful and when to use them.
Also thanks for those light hangers.

As a note, im not trying to say that this mix is better then the other companies.
Tests are limited to numbers. Many companies sell similar products.
If I put more time into the differant brand then I might be surprised
but after years this is the mix that I have settled on for now.
Life is always changing.

Thanks for catching that, I stop using it 3 weeks before harvest.
I usualy grow 65 day strains and the schedule below is for 8 weeks so.... thx.
Also I havent tested enzyme products side by side but hear great things about Cannazyme.

Deffinetly Smokey!
Let me know a day thats good for you.
Thx for buying the hangers!
Would be sweet to see you in your room try this formula on a lady or two.
What nutrients did you use for your last run?

I did a side by side of CNS17 and H&G Coco full line. I did end up liking the CNS17 over the H&G due to ease of use. Weight was the same and so was the quality.

Today I am getting ready to do a grow log from one of my rooms, I am about to flip Blackberry, Shishkaberry, NL5, Dr. Funkenstien, C99. This room is only going to have 4k in it.
HB, You ever on the Eastside of town?

Nice, Ive thought about trying CNS17. Seen nice results.

Sounds like a very very tasty line up!! Is that Blackberry Kush?
Would like to see how your C99 turns out.

I do make it to the east side. Could meet you whenever you want to chill.
Hit me up.

Wait What? You grow in peat moss and you water every day? When I use peat moss (ProMix BX w/ Fungacide and Sunshine #4 are the two I used. On a side note both produced exactly the same under the same conditions. Promix is quite a bit cheaper.) I water once a week in late flower. In veg or early flower I water once every 10-12 days. Peat moss holds crazy amounts of water, how are you watering every day and not drowning and killing your girls?

Hey HB,
Thanks for the post! I have a couple of questions.

1) What do you set your ph at?

2) The Humi-solve is in granular/powder form. It calls for 1.25/ml per gallon.
So, basically 1/4 teaspoon per gallon?

Thanks~DN
