Holes in leafs anyone know what causes this

Anyone know what is causing this leaf to have holes, I've only seen this on one leaf. I have only seen a couple small gnats in my tent, not sure if this is an insect bite?

Yes that is what it is a hole in the card.

That damage looks similar to my plants when my cat slips into the tent and chews on the leaves. Small holes that turn brown after a couple of days. Although cat attacks usually occur on the outer edges of the leaf and not at the base like your damage.
