RECIPE FOR MOAB w/out vitamin B-1 @ 1 tsp/5 gal:

.1 grams/gal MAP
1.07 grams per gallon MKP

this is based on my MOAB weighing 5.7 grams per teaspoon and coming out to

N:3
P:68
K: 80

when added to 5 gallons of water (recommended dose is 1-2 tsp per 5 gal)

.1 MAP and 1.07 MKP comes out to

N: 3
P: 71
K: 80

so its pretty close considering the small amounts being used. If you want 2 tsp/5 gal strength just double it. .2 MAP and 2.14 MKP

Doesn't MOAB also have aminos? That's what I put in my homemade MOAB, IIRC. (It's been YEARS, so I'm going off fawlty memory sticks.)

Hey cap thanks for posting this, I've spent all weekend reading and reading all the post of making your own. Witch has been awesome. Quick ? With making your own nutrients do you still add this booster to the 3-2-1 ratio in flower?

i dont like MOAB
i use B-52+carbo load liquid for my last feed at half dose and its a ,naturall,! bud hardener.makes ur nugs tight as shit.NOW I KNOW ITS NOT 100% ORGANIC.MAYBEE NOT AT ALL EVEN BUT IT WORKS. 25+ % EXTRA YEILD WITH ONE SINGLE FEED.FLUSH ALL EXESS NYUTES OUT! AND THEM BAMB.HIT THEM BITCHES WUITH B52+ CARBO LOAD.I KNOW FOLKS HATE ON A,N! I CAN SEE WHY.BUT?.ITS NOT MY FAMILLY HES MESSED WITH SOO:-)LOL. TRY IT. SPREAD THE GOOD WORD.

Start your own thread about the miracles of AN if you want to, but don't come in here and bash someone who is giving out a tried and true recipe that will allow MOAB users to save a lot of money.

I would have given this a try in my past nutrient lineups. but i am now running a veganic lineup. and trying to get off bottles completely once i have the confidence in my knowledge. But going back to AN is the opposite of what i want my plants to be feeding on. Thanks for the info though, its good to know tips on any level. My way is not the only way. that's why i read these forums everyday.

I used this before with great results. I get my aminos from protein powders when I run my own nutrients. @Capulator is a baws.

im saving people £ aswell. moab! to much, b-52 + prefeblly nitrozyme. sensyzyme works aswell.u only need to use it 1,time. money saved.

No....you didn't bash anyone, but you bashed MOAB or a home made version of it and promoted absolute CRAPTASTIC nutes that have NOTHING to do with this thread. As I stated previously, if you LOVE AN so damn much start your own thread about the miracles of an inferior product. This thread is for people who want to save money making their own MOAB.

BTW.....I bought 40 lbs of MPK and 4 lbs of MAP for around 150 US......over two years ago.......and I have barely put a dent in it. So yeah.....stick to your overpriced AN and spend more money if you want to.

MOAB is an acronym for "mother of all blooms". Obviously that isnt new info for those in this thread, however thought I would put that in here for those that dont know. My sincere apologies for clogging the thread. The search option works and there is alot of info here. I had no knowledge b/c I suffer from organic tunnel vision. So, as a reminder for myself and others will do homework before jumping on a thread. Humbled...

Ok, I have something in the stupid question department. I have heard of people using "hammerhead" which I assume is pk13/14 in conjunction with the moab. Is this a good idea? If so, is there a diy formula for that?

The Hammerhead/MOAB combo is awesome, however they changed Hammerhead a few years back and I think have since discontinued it all together now.

I have used FIRE and MOAB (home made) and also SIZE and MOAB (home made) with great results.

If you are into the whole mixing salts to make your own there are some threads that have some info on how to make your own Hammerhead though. Here's one I found with a quick search.
