I've had this tent for several years. In the beginning it was used to start my vegetable garden. Soon after the laws changed for growing cannabis I converted it to growing weed. I lined it with mylar emergency blankets and wrapped the outside with black plastic. For growers on a tight budget you can easily set up a grow space using the same concept. I helped another interested grower set up a grow space here's what we used. Appliance box free at appliance store. Mylar emergency blankets $1.00 each. 2x heat mats $35, LED shop light $60. Total cost for area approx $100. I know some of you are thinking what about fans and filters. Humidity control etc etc
But I don't use it. With the heat mats on the bottom we created a bottom vent and a top vent. Heat rises so there's a constant Air exchange cool air is pulled in the bottom vent ant hot air is pushed out the top vent. The heat mats keep the inside temp around 70° mine stay a constant 72°.
How about some feedback for this technique.
You still have the cost of containers, soil, and growing supplies. I donated some of that to help him out including a couple of clones.

This reminds me of how I started and I applaud the effort and ingenuity! It's true that very cheap, basic setups can do a great job. That being said, I'm the guy who's going to say please at least include a PC fan inside for air circulation. They're such an easy, cheap addition and will save you countless headaches, not to mention grow much healthier plants. 💚

Duly noted I have thought about including a 4" fan in my 12/12

I’m much more primitive now realizing it’s time to prepare for better. I’ve run such a wide variety photo & auto this my first grow and all are doing great albeit cold/slower. I’m experienced veggie & proud composter/vermicomposter new to cannabis in need of advice (many areas) dealing with tent purchase. I will buy 2 - 5X5 in pro tent kits. First one for winter grow first floor heated, next for cool/dry basement. Photo seedlings for outdoor and some auto indoor. Best I can conclude are vivosun, acinfinity and gorilla but please, please chime in and I’ll be grateful. Thank you!

Been using a small heater and small pedestal fan depending on temp. It’s warmer now and basic walls to darken and trap heat but night temps not to my liking yet for outdoor transplant (need at least 60deg F right?). Man do they stink for 6 “ and 4” wide in recent monstrous growth plants. Best I can figure it’s the Zkittlez. Not even GG #4 smell to that point. Don’t bother either of us but have to clip mint throwing it in wagon to nose confuse neighbor. It works!

I also have a gorilla that I finished some photo period in it's a well constructed tent and a vivosun clone tent I feel like either of those brands would be a good choice for growing
