Im in the market for homeowners insurance and Ive talked to a few and heard about them wanting to do inspections often to make sure your keeping the house in good shape etc. Ive heard of these inspections meaning that they come into your house and look at everything basically. We all know how inconvenient that can be for some of us :) Safeco was the one that does the "pride of investment" inspections , does anyone use them in cali and know if they do these often and what they consist of? Any recommendations on other companies? Id like an insurance company that would leave me alone in terms of inspections as much as possible.
