hi any suggestions on looking after my outdoor plants in the heat
or do they like the heat not sure (newbie ) today for example it is 46 (c) 115(f)
do i give them extra water or leave them be .
thanks in advance from australia.
I agree, when I used to grow in soil indoors about a week each summer would reach 40+ and I would just soak them with water and never hermied even in flower
all you can do is hope for wind,or if close enough to house point a fan at them ,just as you would in a green house,in the heat of day like from 11 to 4pm you can put a little shade over them, then just take it off around 4,i use the 50%shade clothe and just a make shift stand,it is 115 in sun but probally 100 in shade right,as others mentioned with the water i wouldnt do,that is gonna bite you for over watering, stick your finger down i soil and you will find the soil is cool about 3 in down ,so just a tad of shade during hot spots of day will help, they will shut down either way you go when it super hot ,i just try to keep them from sunburn myself
