Hi guys, hope all is well! Just posting a few photos of my first ever grow! This is for any ideas you guys can throw my way!

I am growing in special mix soil with perlite under 1 600w hps light, from 3 clones of “disco biscuit”.

Nutes so far.

Canna a + b - veg stage week 2 start
Adv nutes Big Bud flower stage week 2-4
I am my 5th day of using pk 13/14, 2 days left before I start on Adv nutes Overdrive.

From information of this strain I have roughly 3 -4 weeks left. But what do you guys think? I’m here for constructive criticism if any.

The weather where I am located is pretty hot this weekend , I am also wondering how I would be able to change the tiles of my lights without stressing them out too much, my lights come on at 6pm - 6 am but I am wanting to change it to 10pm -10am thanks a lot happy growing

I have opted to keep the hours same , I have hung 2 co2 bags and added some extra oscillating fans as the temp is reaching 36 degrees ! I will attach a photo of a real time photo as we speak

Will it affect them with having so much air circulation? I don’t really have much of an option as I don’t want them to be killed off due to the heat

Not if they have been in the breeze for a while, your stalks will be rigid. Since you have an hps, I’m kinda lost on how much heat the newer hoods put out, I could suggest maybe dropping your filter and fan closer to the hood to snatch out some of that heat you’re dealing with?

I would love to do that but unfortunately the netting I have added restricts me access to the back now especially to move the fan/filter etc.

The heat is only above average for around 2 hours then drops to the optimum range, hopefully it they cope as well as they have been doing. Thanks for your replies

Humble smoker of 18 years, my goal is to grow some of the best weed around. Should I stay with hps or switch to led? Energy bills aren’t an issue

Well, I’m biased to led, you can control a lot more with them the color wavelength ect. But hps is tried and true, can’t knock either honestly. I’m sure this answer didn’t help any lol sorry, but I will say, a lot of the heads on the forums here grow under led. Not so many hps warriors that I see. There are a few of y’all tho.

Hell yeah man, that’s fn sweet, I would love to see that run. I love to see any run really, but especially a side by side like that. I’ve always wondered. Just make sure to keep it fair par equivalent wise
