My Mephisto 24 carat is starting to scream color..I don’t think the buds are getting bigger..20%of leaves have started yellowing.

Can anyone give a guestimate how much longer..first time grower here.

Get some type loop and check trichomes, you’ll want mostly milky, 10% or so amber, not so many clear...
This one is slightly overdone by about a week.

Thanks. I have a scope and can see mainly clears I think..probably if I see a hint if amber time to pull.

You’ll want mostly cloudy, then some amber...If they’re all clear it’s not time yet.

Well she went milky today! My first full real grow went pretty well IMO! Learned a great deal from you guys!

I decided on a wet trim because I trimmed a dry one before and thought it was a pain..

She’s dense!

Nice job! Bought this type Loop recently and find it much better than the other common type of jewelers loop, good luck

Yeah I think I went overkill with a 60-120 scope. I think I went overkill, I need a drink before I can steady my hand to get a good viewing

Oh that's probably better I think this one is only 90x! Though ripeness certainly can be an individual preference you've got more white pistils left then I like. I would give it 5 days to maybe a week and then check the trics again

Very nice! I agree, another week then check trichs again (on calyxes, not sugar leaves). What’s your setup? Lights/medium/nutes etc.

On many strains, the pistils turning orange is a good leading indicator of being close. Lots of white on the pics above. This isn't 100%, but it's what we used before those scopes were affordable.
