I just use coco and perlite. I don’t know for sure but normally organic and coco don’t work well together. But again I only use coco and perlite and then feed every time I water.
you made soil. this isn't coco. coco is an additive in your soil mix now. do not try to treat this as a coco grow otherwise you're going to have a ton of issues.
I grow in coco with vermiculite mixed in, I use the coco after the grow in my outdoor compost bin with leaves, grass etc.
cocco is cocco, soil is soil, coco is good to add to a clay soil or sandy soil it helps with moisture uptake!
helps to make the soil a better consistency for the plant to uptake nutrients.
cocco does not hold water or nutrients like soil. I basically recycle my pure coco grows for making my own soil mixes.
PH, watering cycle will be way different! In soil versus coco.
if you wait for coco to fully dry out, your plants will be thirsty.
coco is a good PH stabilizer, once dialed in!
not all plant food they sell gets the most out of coco grows.
sometimes there is a breaking in process.
my clones seem ready and eager to grow in coco.
sometimes plants from seed can be a little finicky at first in coco.
ha ha just laying out some years of using coco, be cool, be productive!
