How do i prevent this occurring again

My gorilla glue got nutrient burnt i couldn’t fix it so i decided so just cut her back and let her grow new tops.... how do i prevent this happening again and can it be treated going forward before it gets too bad? I tried rinsing the roots that didn’t work my biggest plant is 2 months and one week

Grow in coco. Problem solved.
Other than that, you need to check the ppm of your runoff and adjust your WEEKLY feeding.

Not a soil grower but using a soil that has low nutrient content or no nutrient content and adding a tiny bit yourself while they are young would benefit you. Plants that young need very little nutrients.

Once they grow up a bit you can transplant into something with more nutrients or again into something with none and add fertilizer in proper amounts.

This is vague info and I'm sure some soil guys will pop in to better explain it and the options. Coco is very popular for a number or reasons this being one

What soil are you growing in? Did you feed something? (What was it? How much?).

Yeah, soil can be confusing. I know how, but it's a pain, too many downsides not enough up sides for me. I start with a soil that doesn't have any nutrients in it. Like what I use for my clones, promix hp peat coco and perlite. With clones I just wait for them to root, transplant to solo cup, and give it a whack of hydro nutes. By whack I mean 1/2 of what they suggest for seedlings and clones. And its usually enough to make the clone fit the cup.

Then I just give them water. Rootbound plants dont need nutrients, if they show signs of deficiency I micro nute (about an eight of what they say on the bottle) and it's usually cool

But if you were to grow it out in soil. You would feed once a week, the day or two before your weekly feeding, collect your runoff and sample it. Keep it in the ppm range of whatever stage growth you're in, and you should have an uncle Bob.

But it's all such a pain in the ass compared to coco. Lol

Yeah probably to much nutrients in that soil for starting. It should pull through. Don't add any more nutrients to it at this point.

Which MG soil. There are a few.

If you're on a budget, MiracleGro Tomato works very good. 5/8tsp/gal. I've grown a plant with from seedling to harvest.

I don't know the names but have seen this around. It's likely the hot one. Some work some don't. I think a nutrient free mix to start in would have made a lot of difference.

Either way I think you have the budget grows down well. I'm not a soil grower but it's not hard to spot someone that knows what they are taking about but I still wouldn't feed that lil guy anything. Not saying you are suggesting that.

I currently growing two gg4 s1 from seed and I will say they are very sensitive to nutrients and any kind of stress.

You have two options. Buy a basic bag of potting soil (no added nutrients), a bag like that shouldnt run you too much, maybe $10-$15. Then buy some liquid espoma organic grow and bloom ($12 each). Or if I had to pick one, the bloom. I have used the bloom in both veg and flower when I was in a pinch and waiting on my normal nutrients to come in the mail. I had awesome growth in my veg tent with that bloom.

Or just ride it out with your current soil. Use something gentle like the espoma liquid organic, you only need a capful at most per gallon and feeding once per week, that bottle will last a few months. If you buy both the grow and bloom, you add half a capful of each to a gallon of water,.
