How i did mine. 2 ratchet hangersI have 4 LED fixtures to hang in a 2 * 2 array; each fixture is roughly 45" *41", weighs 40 lbs and has a pickup point. a few inches in from each corner.
If a separate rope ratchet is used on each point there is not much structural rigidity and it is difficult to raise/lower evenly.
Are there hangers that will allow me to bridge 2 pickup points together? What are others here using in similar situations?
Came with my HLG 600. Maybe they sell them?Did you get those hangers ready made or buy cable, ferrules and swaging tool?
Not those ones the ones that go from the light to the ratchet strapsCan be found anywhere. Just search light hanger. I bought a ten pack off Amazon for like 20$
loop the carabiner that moves with the racket strap around the tent support and loose one carabiner. Or better yet buy 2 more racket straps and loop the portion of the racket strap carabiner that will move around the tent support and you can gain about 5' of height for a 4' tall tent.I'm don't 100% understand your question but this is how I'm doing mine. In my opinion, these companies really need to find a better way to hang these lights. I think it's just for regulation so they need to do it but hanging them the way they tell you leaves 2 feet between the light and the ceiling. My light could be touching the top at full brightness and it wouldn't do anything.

I'm sure whatever you're thinking makes sense but I've read that 6 or 7 times and I can't understand.loop the carabiner that moves with the racket strap around the tent support and loose one carabiner. Yeah thats the best way IMO. I did mine the lazy way with 1 anchor point.I'm don't 100% understand your question but this is how I'm doing mine. Okok I think I understand. I tried all that but none of it fits. The only thing there I can do is the first one.loop the carabiner that moves with the racket strap around the tent support and loose one carabiner. Or better yet buy 2 more racket straps and loop the portion of the racket strap carabiner that will move around the tent support and you can gain about 5' of height for a 4' tall tent.
So a racket strap has 2 carabiners. One is fixed to the racket portion of the device. the other one is tied to the line going thru the racket strap. Take the one that movea and loop it around the tent support and clip it into the line from the racket strap. Pull it tight and take the fix side of the racket strap and clip it to the light. you can get the light about 3" to 4" from the top of the tent by using this method.I'm sure whatever you're thinking makes sense but I've read that 6 or 7 times and I can't understand.
WireRoom.
I have the rope ratchets, it was the hangers from the fixture to the ratchets. Are they wire rope, or cord?
Mostly out of curiosity now though, as i just ordered some 1/16" wire rope and the swaging tool/cutter. With the price of LEDs being what it is, the cost of buying the cable and tool is inconsequential compared to replacing 1 light let alone 4. A career in technical theatre also taught me not to f*ck around when hanging things. Critical things overhead though means spend the money and do it right the first time (at least a 5 fold safety factor). Having missed the furring strips and joists with all but 2 of my pickup points i'm starting to wish i had gone toggle bolts instead of expanding anchors in the drywall. I'm using 2 points per 40 pound lamp and i currently have 10L of drywall primer hanging from 1 as a static test; i may replace the 1/8" twisted rope that came with the rope ratchets to 3mm accessory cord as well.
