I’m a new grower and am just curious if these are looking healthy. 3 RQS Punch Pie & 1 RQS OG Kush all in fox farm ocean forest currently at the start of week 4 flower and running the fox farm nutrient cycle 15ml big bloom, 10ml grow big and 5ml tiger bloom. I have these under a mars hydro FC-E3000 at 70% power. I water every other day and cycle nutrients every other watering

Are you giving them that dosage every other watering? Thats the dosage per week, if youre giving it every other watering youre feeding 3 times per week the maxium dosage, am I correct? They dont look bad specially for a first timer, but theyre definetely affected by something.

Yes every other watering I am adding nutrients I have been going off of this chart that says you can use up to 2 times per week. Every other day puts me at nutrients twice a week I could be reading the chart wrong.

Okay I see. So youre feeding them 3 times per week instead of 2 then? The OG Kush is taking it like a champ, has milder symptoms but the decoloration of the others is not strain related (Sometimes a strain can be that pale but notice how the leaves are not uniform in color). Do you introduce microorganisms in the soil or does ocean forest come with them already?

The interesting thing is the healthier looking plant is one of the 3 punch pies not the OG. I am feeding twice a week watering Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday this week and will add nutrients on Tuesday and Saturday. I did add mycorrhizal fungi to all root systems in the final transplant into the current bags.

I see, so maybe they are hungry? I find it hard to navigate through problems with fox farm products because its a brand that is not available in Spain so I never worked with it. Honestly I was hoping that posting so the thread appears in recent threads would attract someone used to work with fox farms. I was thinking maybe a nutrient lockout from overfeeding as it looks like a deficiency but youre feeding them right. Hopefully someone who works with fox farm products can help you. How many inches or cm are the lights from the plants? Whats the temperature? When was that transplant? When did you start noticing the symptoms if you did? These are questions that are gonna be helpful for me or anyone else trying to find out whats causing it.

Also the buds look fine for that stage, dont worry too much, its something that needs to be corrected if possible but your plants are not dying or anything.

I noticed the change about a week ago these photos are from last Monday. The light is roughly 18”-20” above the canopy. I don’t recall the exact transplant date but I would guess around the first week in June. Thanks for all of your input this is my 2nd grow and I would like to absorb/gain/learn as much knowledge as I can to make my next grow better.

Temperatures are 78-80 degrees durning the light cycle and 65-68 in the dark cycle

Well I would up the feeding and see what happens. I would recomend you wait for someone who uses the fox farm line to chime in though. Temperature is fine, feeding is according to the chart. I checked your panel specifications and youre not giving them too much light, in fact I would suggest that if you can manage the temperature you put them at 100% because at 18-20 inches which is 45-50cm youre getting less than 1000umols in the middle and around 500 on the sides if youre at 70%. This is the PPFD chart for your panel at a height of 40cm with 100% intensity:

Your plants should be recieveing around 1000umols or even more if they can handle it. I dont see burnt tips so I dont think its light stress nor nutrient burn, I see signs of deficiencies so I would try including a light feeding instead of nute-water-nute. For example nutes-1/3rd dosage-nutes-1/3rd dosage and see. Everything seems to indicate that they are lacking something, its not likely that is because of the light being too dimmed or far away, Ive grown weed with less umols than what youre using right now so yeah, my only final conclussion is that either they are hungry or the PH is not right. That said, I would recomend that before you take any actions you wait for someone who works with fox farms to chime in. If nobody does then I guess you can try what I said. Also you have a good attitude about it you will learn fast ✌️

Oh yeah and it never hurts to water with nutes til runoff and check the PH of the runoff just in case. A little bit of runoff is okay you dont wanna drag all the goodies in the soil out.

Thanks again I will check and see umols current value when I get home tonight. I tried to turn the light up a a few days ago but temperatures went up to the 82-85 degree range so I turned them back down thinking the heat would be bad for them. I will have to check the PH run off, I am watering between 6.4-6.8 PH with just a little run off that I feed to my vegetable plants and they love it. Thanks again for your ideas!
