The side vents cannot be drawing air from inside the room or your unit will not work correctly.

If it keeps sucking the air out of the room the air conditioner cannot cool your room.

Your AC cannot cool a room if the air is constantly being sucked out

Because you're supposed to stick the front through a hole in the wall and leave the back on the other side of the wall

Like you could stick it through from the bedroom on the other side if you didn't want it hanging out the house

You could build plywood around the front and then take the paneling off from the back side of the other room

It won't work that way. You can only stick the front of the unit in the room all the rest of it has to be out of the room.

Just take a piece of plywood like you did for your door it doesn't have to be that thick. Cut a hole in it where the front of the AC can stick through

It will still try to work but it cannot cool your room to an acceptable range.

Put a piece of plywood over the front of it and then you can pull the paneling off behind it so the back part can get air then it will work

People that buy them know not to put the condenser inside the grow room. You can fix it by putting a sheet of plywood over the front and then take the paneling off in the back
