it works on contact. u may still have to spray more. maybe it still killed it's just stuck there? took me about 2-4 months of constant spraying with greencure to completly get rid of pm. i trashed all my big moms took many cuts and treated them while they were rooting. if they showed pm i threw them away.

i sprayed 2-3 times a week in flower, but i had pm real bad i was dealing with c99, she gets it real easy then it builds and can infect your other plants real fast. i only eneded up keeping my fruit punch pheno got rid of the other 2 i would spray them and next day it was there again.

started to see the new growth doesn't really get PM so that's when i got the idea to take cuts and trash them moms eventually i beat it. good idea is also when ur buds are just forming to spray them real good that way when they grow around the area u sprayed no pm will be inside the bud. tha parts i sprayed seemed to be ok for about 10-14 days. if u make to strong a does u will notice your pistils turning brown early, it didnt affect my plants it seems. when i chopped i also made 2 trays with water in them one had greencure in it one was just water. i would submerge my buds into the greencure mix then rinse them off with the water mix before i hung them. i made sure to put a fan blowing on them the 1st night to dry the water off. final product had no complaints and i didnt see any PM on the dried buds

Get some room circulation going!!!! You need at least 16 full room exchanges/hour to be positive that you won't get pm!!! I used to get pm like crazy, especially on my God's Gift and Mango Haze cuts. Haven't seen any mildew since I added my intake/exhaust.

Peace

How strong did you use the green cure,? I use two big scoops with the green scooper that it comes with per gal. It usually only takes one application but sometimes two. Next time try to spray weekly for first three weeks of flower and you shouldn't have problems for rest of grow.

PS in veg room switch back and forth from green cure to serenade bi weekly and you should never see it again. Preventative maintenance is the best way to deal with mold and bugs. Goodluck.

i used 2 small scoops per gallon when i was treating and if the plant has pistils i only use one or it would make the pistils shrivil. even though it really didnt hurt the plant. the big scoops im sure would knock anything out good info mark about serenade

nothing works for pm besides a systemic like say eagle-20 everything else is a band aid.
before i had used neem sulphur green cure(potassium bicarb) oils baking soda(sodium bicarb) sns-22 sm-90 serenade etc... all suck for pm and the plants dont like it especially in flower. since i used eagle 20 i dont think about pm not when humidity is high or it rains for a year does not matter you will never see it again ever period.

I'm wondering about spraying late in flower. i've heard green cure can knock the heads off trichomes.

One thing with PM is you need to to look at it.

When you apply fungicides to PM the spores explode. So after treatment it looks worse than when you started. With a 30x scope you can see it is dead.

It kills the mold but still leaves behind a powdery white which still needs to be cut off or thrown imo. I never get rid of PM with just greencure it just slows it down long enough to harvest.

Sierra Natural Science (SNS-244) is where its at. Got a free sample pack of products from their site. Kills on contact smells decent no white residue, cost effective, only side effect is the leaves get a little ruffled and look like they almost have a plastic coating on them.

Greencure should give you visibly smaller patches, if not 'eliminating' them entirely.

Yes, it is entirely possible that you will see PM again using Eagle 20, especially with all the pot growers misusing it. Read the label, find the other papers written on single-site mode products and how they must be not only rotated, but require a suite of treatments in order to ensure resistance does not rear its ugly head (again, PM's been there, done that, lotsa times).

Eagle 20 should be a last resort, whereas Greencure should be included in a regular treatment plan, in my opinion. Also horticultural oils like JMS Stylet should be used as a physical barrier form of control.

No, it doesn't remove trichomes at all, but I can assure you that if it stays on buds it tastes like soap. H2O2 products at the very late stages would be my own recommendation.

I dont agree at all with this statement about Greencure. I have sprayed my plants, seen the pistols burn to a brown. Looked under a loop and seen damage to trichomes. I dont know what else to say. If you use the Greencure too strong it will effect/slightly burn the plants!

PM is in the Air & it's almost impossible 2 get rid of I think u can control it tho.. When my plants r small I start with preventives.. I spray with neem oil, azamax, GreenCure, tea, at different times even sometimes I foliar feed & add Great White.. I make sure my leaves r coated with stuff the PM hates.. The Tea & Great White actually eat the PM juss like greencure.. Then I stick my plants in2 the flowering chamber with very low RH.. I no low RH is bad 4 bud growth but it's great 4 crystal formation & PM won't grow in low RH. I suffer with small harvests but I like it better then a big moldy ass harvest.. U need 2 attack the PM way b4 u see it.. Juss act like it's always there.. I fight off PM even tho I don't see it in my room..

Ok. I haven't noted any such damage after treating mine with Greencure. Doesn't burn the pistils, sure doesn't damage the trichomes using two methods of application, which includes fully dipping the entire plant in GC.

I soaked my green crack and white widow buds with OxiDate. I figured pm's like an iceberg; if I can see it there's probably more I can't. The fuzz is still there though and the buds are sort of dusty looking. Not sure what to do at this point. The worst I will save for tinctures since the alcohol will kill any live spores. Guess I'll have to be the guinea pig and try smoking some.

Both the ogkush, trainwreck and sshaze so far are ok (cross my fingers) with a week to go.

With green cure I found the smaller dose 1 (tea?) doesn't discolor the pistils. Haven't seen any damaged trichomes either. I'm also using the sns244 but my hydro shop thought about 7 days to harvest I should stop.

I ran C99 outside and she did pretty well for a soggy September!
Old thread but I'm looking for insight on pm, in particular using green cure. How,often and when should I stop?
I just saw a bunch of fans with it.
I defoliated what I could. Now what are some other ways to be proactive? Diatemecous earth?
