Is there any studies or anything on how long pollen can survive before it will no longer be effective? I feel like it would last forever but someone told me after a week or won't pollinate anymore.

It doesn't last forever. Stored properly, it can last months, but how much of it is viable falls over time.

I had plants herm and pollen definitely made it all around the tent, I plan on taking a couple months break and was wondering how vital it is to methodically clean over bit of the tent and everything I can more than the usual.

I'd at least wipe down the tent with diluted bleach. If you're taking months off, I probably wouldn't bother taking fans apart, for example.

Water makes pollen inert.

pollen is only viable for a few days after release in normal environnemental condition, water is enough to neutralize pollen

Once water hits pollen it is inert.
