I just want to know how much ml's of nutes I will need to buy in my conditions. Let me explain them below:
* Growing 3 plants in 3 pots of 11 liters or about 3 gallons
* I'll be vegging for about 4 or 4.5 weeks, depending on plant/room size and the future situation
I guess 250ml is okay? I'll be buying BioBizz and 120ml Mammoth P.
I found that no one answered, so I decided to answer this question myself
I have 3 plants, and I will probably start watering them every day once it reaches to middle/late veg.
If I'm going to be vegging for 4 weeks, then my plan is like this:
Germination (1wk): watering about 0.25 liters per plant, just until early veg starts
- Everyday: 3 * (7 * 0.25l) = 5.25 liters for 1st week
- Every other day: 3* (3.5 * 0.25l) = 2.6 liters for 1st week
Early Vegetation (2nd - 4th wk): watering about 0.5 liters per plant, just until mid-late veg starts
- Everyday: 3 * (14 * 0.5l) = 21 liters for 2 weeks
- Every other day: 3 * (7 * 0.5l) = 10.5 liters for 2 weeks
Mid-Late Vegetation (5th - 6th wk): watering around 1 liter per plant, probably gonna keep the quantity consistent from here, maybe will vary on late flower
- Everyday: 3 * (14 * 1l) = 42 liters for 2 weeks
- Every other day: 3 * (7 * 1l) = 21 liters for 2 weeks
All flower (7th - 13th wk): watering 1 liter all of this stage
- Everyday: 3 * (49 * 1l) = 147 liters for 6 weeks in total
- Every other day: 3 * (25 * 1l) = 75 liters for 6 weeks in total
TOTAL SUM & AVG OF WATER NEEDED FOR WHOLE GROW CYCLE: Minimum: 109.1 liters Maximum: 215.25 liters Avg: 162.2 liters
Summary:
I can definitely pull my grow off with 250ml bottles. By my veg cycle of just 4 weeks, the bare minimum of nutrients I need is 109.1 milliliters.
How do you know how much your plants will eat? Are you going for run to waste or recirculated, medium and size of pots also have a large influence on how much nutrient you'll use, and how did you work out the amount you'll loose through evaporation, and easy question to ask, but not so easy to answer.
Just buy a regular size bottle of nutrients. If you need more, then buy more. You should give the plants what they need as they grow, not what you think they want.

Dialing in the right amount of nutrients is a wait an see type of experience, we all learn that thru trial and error. Enjoy the ride, so to speak. Double up the nutrients if you want so you don't run out is fine but, fine tune the amounts by watching your girls react.
