How rooted should seedlings be for transplant?

A couple seedlings I have sprouted have a single root coming out the bottom of the root cube, theyre still pretty small. I'm on day 7 since planting unsprouted into the cube. I'm guessing maybe 2 to 3 days before they're ready to transplant? What do you think?

I germ in Jiffy pellets and transfer day after sprout to keep taproot going in the right direction and get a lateral spread started.
It's all grower preference.

You may as well go ahead and get them in more media... cup of soil, coco, etc.
Unless you are going hydro.
Cubes are not amazing places for tender seedlings to be.
Cup of soil will make them less at risk of cubes drying out.
Give roots a place to expand to.

Comes down to grower preference .some like to wait till there multible roots coming out.i pretty much do it witin 3 days in a not too big a pot.in coir/perlite..just do what you think is right..i buried near half of the stem as dont like lanky plants.i up potted to a 1.5 litre .up poting again tomorrow at 3 weeks
