I am five weeks and two days in to flower. Buds are stacking up and looking great.

It's a home mix organic blend and I've had great results so far but I have noticed a very slight light green on the very tips of just a few leaves and I wanted to give a little potassium boost for the end of the run. To this point I have left it alone except for a BAS craft blend topping a few weeks ago and some worm casting tea a couple times.

I have some fresh ash from my fire pit that I was wanting to add but I don't want to do anything drastic at this point so I'm wondering how much to use and how to apply. I used some in my soil mix in the beginning but not a lot. So top dress, dissolve in water, leave it be?. It is a Sativa dominant and I think I still have four weeks until harvest

Yes, top dress with some......go light. As long as the wood you burned wasn't tarry, like pine, I don't lnow if I'd use much of that. Then again, pine isn't good for a fireplace anyway. But depending on the size of your pots.....1/4 cup per 5 gallon pot? And see how that goes, better to slightly underdo it, you can always add more next time. You can dissolve it in water but that can get messy and top dressing will get it in just fine. I like using a water mist bottle when we collect, transport, or use ashes........it dampens things down so you don't kick up a big powdery cloud of it. When we clean out the fireplace one of us holds the bag and mists while the other one carefully scoops.

The ash is from my Desert Willow trees, dried for a couple years, It burns very clean.

7 gallon fabric pots and their getting thirsty lately, 1 1/2 gallons every 2-3 days now. I water when I get some leaves drooping.
