How exactly do I tell a bud site vs another just another spot in a node that grows more leaves? I'm starting week six now and I see hairs, but some just seem to turn into leaves. If you have any pictures that would be perfect, I'm visual. I appreciate the help, and not laughing at me.

A pic would help a ton man.
I really need a reference.

It’s common mag deficiency.
You need to change your lights settings.
How high is it from canopy?
What is the output set to?

It’s caused by led lamps being very good and driving plants to eat all available mag I. The medium so then it goes where the food is. Your leaves.

Light set to 30-36in at 25-40% never going over 40%

And no, those aren’t seed pods.
Is internodal growth. Normal.

Also the way your leaves are actions at the top siite show a downward curl trying to hidenn nb itself from light.

Manufacturing guidelines pertaining to ppfd, is bs.

Pretty much anywhere you see hairs is a “budsite” but only so many of those “budsites” will produce nice buds

Just curious, what's showing you a mag deficiency?
It's about 19in from canopy
300w at 68%

Is picture #3 a budsite or, can I trim those leaves? I'm trying not to cut off any that I shouldn't.

It’s hard to tell from that pic where on the plant it is.if you’re newto growing I wouldn’t cut anything and just watch how the whole plant and budsites develope until the end !! After a few crops you’ll start to see what turns into nice bud n what just stays larfy. A lot is strain dependent.

I only ever take the leaves that are pointed inward towards the center of the pot, that are covering potential top sites. Other than that I leave everything on the perimeter of the plant.
Example….

Raise the light. That’s what is happening
The yellowing in between stoma margins on your leaves.
It’s common. And happens to all of us that use led.

Do you see the light heights of my gear? Top pic is flower room, bottom my veg room.
Here are a couple less severe cases of past plants.

I wouldn’t be you. It’s super common.

On the 2nd & 3rd picture I sent, are those areas ok to prune at? Thanks for sharing the pics!

Also what is your lights output % at!

All the ones with a red x.
It’ll start to click.

Perfect! Thanks

68, I'll be turning it down tomorrow to 40% like you recommended.
Good plan.
Also once the plant is is full bloom, end of week 2 flower cannabis demand for mag drops a ton. Just know the leaves won’t magically heal here, they may get some green pigment back, but the ship has sailed. you will be fine.

That chart breaks down what cannabis plants need, way better to go by what is needed for what week of the life cycle not nute makers charts. Stick with it long enough you won’t need any charts.

Nobody is laughing at you, nobody worth a damn at least. In about 1975 or so, my parents were given a pot plant about two foot tall. It grew to about three or four foot tall of just leaves. Unless you were a botanist or biologist, you didn’t know there were male and female plants. What? Kinda dumb back in the day once I think about…fuk we were stoopid. lol
