Yes, but you will probably have to do something to keep the R/H up, a/c air is very dry.

Are you talking about drying your plants?

If so, how big is the space you're drying?
What temp and humidity readings do you get with no lights on in the drying area?

How can I do to keep the R/H up. And what is R/H ❓❓
R/H is Relative Humidity (how much moisture is in the air). The sweet spot for drying/curing is as close to 60 degrees and 60% R/H as you can get. A humidifier will keep the R/H up.

Will a humidifier cause more moisture in the air? Because when I have messed up in the past they smell like mold fish smell. I'm about to give up. I just can't get like you can

@rocky44 - Do you know what the temperature and relative humidity are where you are drying your plants?

The humidifier adds r/h, but most can be set to the r/h you want. You could try drying it for 4-7 days outside the tent, when the fan leaves start to get dry, start curing it at 60/60 with the a/c unit. That should solve any mold issues.

The main key in everything is not panicking about anything. Once you lose the panic…. If you have it, then things will go better for you. 60 temp and 60rh is great. You’ll be just fine at 50rh and 70 temp. Everything is t going to go perfect every time. Most of us don’t have extremely expensive set ups. I’ve dried at 55 degrees and 75 degrees. You have to keep it realistic. You can only do what you can do. If you need humidity you point a fan at a saucer of water if you need. I’m in Ohio and my furnace is on. Rh is about 45 in my house. I still need a dehumidifier when I dry. The tent will climb because the plant is releasing moisture.

What is a good temperature gauge you use
Any thermometer will do, it doesn’t have to be 100% accurate, it doesn’t have to be exactly 60% R/H, 60 degrees, just as close as you can reasonably get it. Then in a week or so jar it up, with a hydrometer in it, and check the r/h, if it climbs above 60 open the jar for a couple hours, repeat until it holds 55-60% r/h and store it for use in a cool dark place.

So are you saying. When the plants fan leaves start to turn yellow. Then when they turn yellow chop it down and hang them upside down. I use a air conditioner and a dehumidifier

So have the 2 of them running at the same time. Air conditioner and the humidifier same time. Won't that cause mold or the fish smell.

No, you go by the pistils and trichs. The pistils should be almost all brown and crinkled and the trichs should be milky with a few amber, then you chop, hang the plant, when the fan leaves start to get dry and/or the smaller branches break when bent, that's a sign it's ready to be jarred up and then use the hydrometer/burping the jars to get the r/h to 55-60%.

If you would describe your conditions in detail, we could work something out.
