How to keep you reservoir clean

I have had several issues with algae blooms, tried keeping the light out ect now I'm going to attach a UV sterilizer in a circuitry system so just gos in and out of he res through the UV..

Another thought is can pathogens get in through the air pump and air stone, that's what I think is a good possibility, yes the aquarium filter has a crude filter but I don't think that stop's everything... I'm thinking the air pump is the culprit as nothing else seems to be wrong, however I did have 4 times to strong nute mix so yeh lol that to, but I'm installing a 32w UV sterilizer so that should stop any further blooms. What is the recommended to run this UV as I heard about 1 hour a day ?

Doesn't the UV Radiation destroy the nutrients ?
Reservoir temp is to high . Recommended 68 I use Hydro guard . great stuff and this too. Active earth does the same thing.
1 drop of bleach per gallon per day.
Change the water out at shorter intervals do not exceed 7 to 10 days
I know Hydrogen peroxide works/helps , but can be tough the roots
