How to know when to feed?

Hey guys so i'm starting my grow now and would just like to know im using coco coir and perlite then for dry amendment I will be using greenhouse feeding bio as we don't have gaia green in south africa is there anyway to know when your plant need to be feed and where could I find info on the would love to learn how I would love to learn to read my plant and know what they need and then to give it to them?

If you are using dry amendments, you just mix it in the soil, or coco, it should be slow release.
