What up guys. i was just wondering how hot people go with co2. I’m currently running my room at 80-81 degrees and 50-55 percent humidity. @ 1500 ppm. I was curious about the pros and cons of increasing temps even higher.

No idea but interested so I will watch for the answer. What co2 enrichment solution are you using?

Also ppfd are people running with the increased co2?

Running hlg 600.. can push about 80-85k lux with 1200ppm CO2 before seeing signs of stress. I keep leaf temps about 77-80. Room is usually low 80's

I would give the ppfd if I had a meter but I'm guessing 1300+

that’s around 1165-1235 ppfd according to their calculator on hlg. Do yo go higher then 1200 ppm ever or is that your max? I did 1200 last run and had great results. Figured I would give 1500 ppm a try.

I did try 1500ppm but noticed no increase over 1200. I think with a little more tweaking I may see some improvement but 1200ppm seems to be where I max out right now. I use true VPD not those online charts. Temp may be the key to seeing gains at a higher ppm but so far 1200pm is about where I'm stuck. I mean it's possible maybe more light but I can't seem to push past 85k without seeing some stress

Do you think these parts would work for running from a tank of compressed co2?

I hear about a "relay" to basically make sure the regulator turns off whenever the exhaust fan is on. What's the best way to accomplish that?

This site makes me think a 20L tank would last quite a while between refills in a 4x8x8 room. Is that realistic?

I have a 20lb and 10lb because sometimes when I fill I need to leave it overnight.

The regulator solenoid combo is what I use not that brand but same thing. The one thing that is beneficial if you buy a dual stage regulator you will see when the tank is low as opposed just your psi out. I run about 15 to 20psi out.

I could do an entire grow in a 4x4 on a 20lb tank but that all going to depend on how well the room is sealed, how often you go in and what ppm you run at what stages of growth. I run like 600ppmnthe last couple weeks because not as much photosynthesis is going on

Man I just cant get my 3x4 to stay within reasonable temp/rh running a 480w qb and sealed for co2.. ive tried a 8k btu i believe portable AC but it cycled far too fast and created negative pressure so was still wasting co2.. how do you cool yours?

Window AC... Im not at home to take pics in the new room but my 4x4 was actually a 4x4 grow area and another 2 feet of equipment space. These are my old grow space pics.

Ahh right ive seen these before, incredibly fine tuned set up youve got there. I thought about cutting a hole in the tent for a tiny 5k btu window unit but its really just not feasible with the space I've got. Guess im throwing in the towel on the co2 sadly, ive been a stubborn bastard trying to make it work. On the bright side my area has an ambient of 500-800 so thats nice lol

That little grow box was awesome for CO2 I'm hoping the room will be the same.

This was just over 3 weeks of growth. Dec6 to Jan 2. Of my last grow in it. I had to rip it out but if you search my journal you can find it.

Yeah I wouldn't attempt it in a tent.

That durofoam is cheap like $12cad for a 12x8 sheet. Thats all its built out of.

Unreal. Thats gotta be as good as it gets. What was the avg yield per bucket in there?

Less that 6 feet height. Over 2 pounds and a pound of shake popcorn. I think I could have pushed 3 pounds with a few more runs in it. But I'll never know

That is a sexy AF setup.

We are both in Canada. Where do you recommend refills for your CO2 tanks? Canadian Tire? I think I may have to use Air Liquide in the Maritimes but not sure.

For temp control, assuming we can't all get a window AC. Is something like this possible?

The temperature controller turns on the Exhaust fan when over a preset temp.
The co2 controller is somehow prevented from operating the regulator whenever the Exhaust fan is on.

I am just not sure what form of wiring and device wizardry will accomplish this.

ABC fire.. I would do CO2 without a completely sealed room. No exhaust fans. Otherwise I think the cost would be insane
