Alright, so I have grown several times in soil, but I want the quick and plentiful harvest of a hydro. I am using a constant drip, bubble ponics system. I germinated my seeds in a shot glass of perfectly PH balanced water. I think I was in a hurry to get started, and didn't let the sprout grow out very much, the seeds sank to the bottom and were cracking open, so I placed them in rockwool cubes and put hydrotons around them, etc. Anyway, after 5 or 6 days, there was three showing leaves, and two doing nothing. Now, their is only one successfully growing, this is day 7, one is fully healthy, growing and is about 3 or 4 inches tall now. The two that were showing leaves are now wilted and kind of dark, one the seed fell off of, but i put it in some perilite in hopes of saving it. I researched what to do, and only thing I could find that would possibly help was on here, and that was to soak rockwool cubes in a weak nute, then put them in there.

I am really hoping someone else has better insight and can pinpoint my problem. I am using Compact Fluorescents, a bubbleponics system with a netpots, and hydrotons.

sorry to hear that bro. IMO i would kill the weak ones and focus more on the ones doing good. If those are doing better then the others in the same system they may be weak genetics. I would then either grow out the existing ones or clone them to refill the empty positions. It could also be that some plants are water logged or deficientcy but its hard to tell from what i read, pics of the set up and list of your grow climate and nutes would help narrow down the problems and better understand whats going on. good luck dude

Too wet. Better moisture management of your Rockwool is required. Damping off is a common problem with seedlings in Rockwool for growers not familiar with it.
