I know strip tests arent as accurate but...Anyone using this (or similar product) to test for minerals and such?
Mostly useful info, much cheaper than titration kits meant for Salt water (which may work? Or some will work with adjustments? - unclear)

This seems easier, if it works.

It looks like these strips give no useable data. They do not measure by ppm or uapm.
Micronutrients are that very small amounts.
If you want to test a water source JR Peterman through jacks does a water test cheap for what ya get. Complete breakdown and a custom feed chart and recommendations on ro or use your tap or well.
I had this done and went with a RO filter and complete nutes that I have to add nitrogen too.....

I’ve used strip tests before, and while they aren’t super precise, they’re definitely convenient and can give you a general idea of where things stand. For minerals, they should work fine for basic readings, but if you’re dealing with saltwater and need more accuracy, you might want to double-check with a titration kit now and then. Some strip tests can be adjusted or interpreted for saltwater, but it really depends on the brand and what you’re testing for. If ease of use is your priority, strips are a good place to start, especially if you’re supplementing them with more precise methods when needed.
