I was wondering if my hydroponic setup is correct. I know it’s plain and simple but would like some feed back.

The bucket is something I'm familiar with but why coco/soil for the seedlings? If you're doing dwc it's better to use rockwool starter cubes. Everything else is fine...maybe add a fan when they get bigger but apart from the those seedlings everything else is good. Simple is best. Just remember whatever your tent temp is, is what the solution temp will be. If you're not cooling the water than you would want to be using something to avoid root rot.

I messed up when purchasing soil. I bought MG and planted all three. I got the hydro today and replanted the biggest seedling that’s about a week older then the solo cups. When I transplant them into a larger pat I wanted to switch to fox farms, is that possible? Or do I have to use MG through the whole cycle.

Also when adding nuts how should I go about that? I have about 4 1/2 gallons of water in my hydro.

I can't help with anything other than DWC soz. In regards to your nutes keep in mind that hydro is a lot more efficient at getting nutrients into your plants. Always do any formulation you read on the bottle at half strength, which may be too strong if everything is dialled in.

For now you should be safe at half strength nutes but when you start adding things like cooling for your water, chelators (humic. fulvic, aminos), growth hormones (kelp, B1 vitamins) will increase that efficiency and you can get down to quarter strength. When you add things like more powerful lighting and Co2 they may uptake more again. However, no one should be running full strength nutes in hydro ever...they're doing something wrong if that's the case.

Go easy on the Micro...Especially in flower. Plants takes up 80% of their Nitrogen needs in the first half of their lives. I run 1ml/L of micro in veg then 0.5ml/L from week 3 of flower.

Wrap a nylon around the Olga before ya put em in the hydroton will save the dirt from making its way into the water. Just drop em in to the toe and cut. Haven't done it but I can't see why it wouldn't work.

Put 1-2" of hydroton on the bottom of your net pot. Then put the plug on top of that and fill the rest making sure no light leaks into the water.

Put your airstone in the middle on the bottom then fill to about an inch or 2 below the net pot with water. The bubbles breaking the surface will get the nutrient solution (150-300ppm max to start) to the seedling. Top feed 1 cup of nutrient solution a day until roots hit the water and then it's go time.

Water temps if not using hydrogaurd should be kept lower. About 68f would be great.

Don't put anything organic in your system you will regret it quickly. I also liked hygrowzyme but it's not needed although I feel it helps with healthy roots.

I go by ppm. I would suggest a ppm and pH meter if doing hydro. Unless using ph perfect. Boy I forget a lot about those nutrients and never used em. I will have to look at the labels but skipping tiger bloom rings a bell.

Start at 1/4 the manufacturer recommended dose. Is the easy way for me to answer that.

ASAP, replace that POD blurple led. If you need a cheap light that is very good value, run, don't walk to Spider Farmer SF 100 better for coverage SF2000

I like to use 1/4 strength nutes in the begrinning. (Begrinning ha) Then when plant is really healthy and established i go full strength. Go up to about 1100-1500 ppm which is about full strength off the labels. I use liquid silica so the plants can handle hotter temps and more bending. I’m also using co2 at around 1100-1800 ppm. That also helps with heat stress. Miracle grow isn’t the best for cannabis. So when you transplant switch to fox farms no problemo. Don’t keep light too close to tops. They can get foxtails, light bleached and worse case scenario the tops can become a fat stack of bananas from the heat/light overdose. You don’t want banana man. Those are male dicks jizzen all over your plants. You won’t be be growing sensi cuz your plants will be focused on making tons of seeds. Like tons. And those seeds won’t be good. Theylle have hermie genetics which is bad. Real bad. Unless you like eating seeds which is what I do whenever I come across them. They taste good.
