my plants are almost ready for harvest. I got up this morning and found little black bugs on one bud. Is there anyone who has seen this before?

Oh man. Haven't had those yet. So not sure what they are. Some sort of aphid. Look up black aphids on weed plants.

I would recommend ladybugs to gobble em up. Or wash em and kill em by hand. I'm sure someone on here has battled the same and come out a winner so hopefully they can pass on their information.

They were just on the one flower so far. I’ll try lady bugs. Can’t hurt. If that doesn’t work I’ll just have to harvest early before they spread.

They are aphids. The white part is them shedding their exoskeleton. If you are growing indoors you want to find out how they got in there in the first place. Sucks that you found them in flower.

So you are not gonna wanna hear this....
Trash it and start over unless you wanna smoke bugs and bug shit.
Those bugs are EVERYWHERE, as well as bug shit, and not worth messing with imo.
I think itll be healthier for you to just buy a bag for now unfortunately

The first thing I'd do is cut off the bud(s) where you found the bugs, bag them and trash them. That's probably where the infestation began. They're surely spreading, though.

It's made of food-safe ingredients. It's supposed to kill aphids. I know it kills spider mites.

I’ve checked the other plants with a microscope and haven’t found any more. You don’t think harvesting is worth it?

if you have a couple of weeks until harvest, and you dont mind using pesticides, I would put a No Pest Strip in tent. seal off vents and turn vent fan off. Leave for 12 hours and then air out tent. Bugs will be dead. Harvest as usual. If you dont want to use a NPS, then you have other less potent options like neem oil, or pyrethrin foggers.
When ever I resort to using anything to kill bugs, I will make bubble hash out of the flower. This way, I rinse the bug waste and dead bugs out of the product.

Found the perfect solution on YouTube! I had spider mites and everyone knows how bad it is to get spider mites. Neem oil helped but didn't kill them off, mix 50/50 rubbing alcohol and water, u can also add Neem oil but u do use Neem oil then u have to put a few drops of dawn soap to break up the oil. Spray your plants from head to toe, under leaves and all. The alcohol will kill them practically on contact. Get them all in one go and you should be good. As far as the quality of the bud due to bug shit I cannot say. But the alcohol and Neem oil will not harm your harvest
