Looks like they are too hot and too much light intensity to me

I’m inexperienced but it does look to me like light intensity and some heat too.

Might be some other things going on but I’ve found that if you do have too much light or heat, back it off and you may just see the auxiliary problems resolve themselves. If they’ve been suffering, I like to give them a day or two of much less light so they can relax before trying to push them at full force again.

I think your confusing light burn to light stress when you say they go crispy under a hps.

Obviously there’s more going on than light stress
and is probably food related or ph

If it was led yeah they will go like that but under a hps they will burn before the leaf looks like that
