I need help

Hi guys, I was wondering if someone might be able to help me? I have never tried to grow a marijuana plant but I happen to find a seed in some of my medicinal marijuana so I decided to plant it. I don’t really remember the name of it or whether it was indica or sativa but I know it was excellent marijuana. I was super super excited when it sprouted and started growing. Then when it did all the sudden the tips started turning brown. I read something about it might be a nitrogen imbalance. Then I read that you’re not supposed to plant it in miracle grow soil so I transplanted it into an organic soil adding perlite to it. Since then it has been losing leaves on the bottom. They turn yellow and fall off and the tips have a once again turn brown. Can someone help me? I will post some pictures with it.

how often you watering and how much do you give?

So most recently for the last two weeks or so 1 times week. I transplanted the plant yesterday from a 8.3 inch pot to a 12 inch x 10 inch deep pot. I’ve been giving it about 16 oz

I have it on a 12 hr light cycle I moved the light 14- 18 inches from the top of the plant it was about 8 inches

I’m absolutely willing to transplant it again if you have some specific soil that you would recommend and I’ll buy a new light if you think my light sucks. I don’t even know what wattage I should be using. I’m just been kind of googling things.

You’re overwatering. The roots are drowning, let the soil dry back until the pot is light before you water again. The yellowing is because the roots are damaged and can’t take up nutrients. You probably only need to water that plant every 3-5 days. That light is not going to work well, particularly in flower. BTW, why are you running it 12/12? That will induce flowering.

Yes, eventually you want them to flower, but they need to grow up first! You veg them at 18/8 then drop it down after they’ve grown, to 12/12. In your case it’s in flower already, so I’d just leave it there.

Yes, youre suposed to feed, specially if leaves from the bottom are yellowing and falling, that means its hungry. The paleness is nitrogen deficiency, and probably other nutes aswell. 6 months old? Are you sure? If so that light is clearly not up to the task and might be other reason youre losing leaves too. When plants get bigger and dont have enough light they tend to get rid of leaves until theyre fine or they die.
Since you transplanted it recently she will have nutes (what soil is it?) but since you said its organic maybe it doesnt have as many nutrients readily available as she would want if she was hungry before the transplant. I would recommend a proper panel for growing, even if its a cheap 60-80 dollars one from a chinese company like fecida but with a bit more you can get it from a solid brand like spider farmer, since you only have 1 plant you would do fine with the cheapest models. Also get a base NPK for veg and flower and follow the feeding chart of the company you choose to buy (for future grows, right now you would only need a flower base NPK).

I cant recommend you what organic fertilizers to use, you would need a liquid fertilizer rather than a top dressing for faster results, the problem is that I live in Spain and youre probably from the US so we have different options. Someone from the US that can give him a good organic liquid brand? I use advanced nutrients organic line, which is available in the US (comes from there), but its a bit expensive compared to other brands.

Oh and last thing sorry, nothing of what I said will guarantee that your plant will recover since its pale and doesnt have many leaves, its just what I would do in your situation. Be careful with the dosage of nutrients, start with half, its a small plant, or even 1/4 since its stressed. Same with the light if you buy it, keep it at least at 20 inches and dimm them a little bit (80% potency for example).
If your tips start crisping even more and its only happening on the top leaves, dimm the light even more.
If the tips start crisping and its not only the ones on the top canopy reduce nute dosage.
If the leaves start clawing reduce nute dosage.
As for the watering, which could also be part of the problem, get used to know how much it weights when its dry and when its recently watered so you can lift it and know if it needs more water or not.

For this one? Idk forcing re-veg with better nutes but 6 months is nutty. Nothing to clone off either, not that it's great to clip one from or anything.
Order some seeds online brother. Find a good sale pack of "photo, feminized". Reset and try again, we all do.
This one idk don't fuckin repot that's for sure, not right now. Go get H&G a/b liquid concentrate and mix 1ml to the spaghetti jar of water, change timing to 16/8 untill it halts flower and bushes out? Get some flowering nutes and force flower your 2 grams? Nothin says you shouldn't try I guess.

Just to summarize, you germinated in september with miracle grow on a 12/12 lightcycle, up potted yesterday during mid flower to organic and have only given water since the start? If it took her 5 months to go into flower this way I dont expect her to do much. Organics are also slow release so they wont help her much atm. You could let her ride ofc but I think you'd actually finish quicker starting fresh with good seed.
