i think im allergic

My arms get itchy but I always thought it was all the pointy tips on all the leafs causing this.. I used 2 always go work in the garden in a tank top & when I was done I was itching like crazy in veg & bloom.. The sticky buds r a Lil bit worse but I'm always a Lil itchy when messing with the plants..Now I try 2 cover up as much skin as possible

While harvesting my sinuses get all messed up , eyes watering , sneezing -- for sure I am allergic , been indoor growing since I was 18 , am 35 now and every year it seems to progressively get worse , but the strains also get better ..:sick0018:

it def gets worse i wear a mask and glasses and long sleeves.

Yeah, I've got horrible allergies with grasses and dust...
I'm fine with smoking the stuff all day but rub it on me and I'll redden up and get bumps, and harvest is a nightmare for me, if I go big, I'll pay for a day or so with a fucked up nose the whole next couple days, depending on what kind, i'll go sneezecrazy or teary eyed...def depends on the genetics for me. But bottom line any genetic I've ever encountered messes me up if I work at harvest.

That goes for outdoor, indoor, any and every feed imaginable...

I know someone possibly allergic to marijuana

Everytime he smoked his one eye would get really red and would look much smaller than his other eye. Almost like it was irritating his eye. Kinda weird

Not sure if he is exaclty allergic but kinda funny seeing his eye start shrinking once he starts puffing

Many of the compounds on buds/plants never actually make it into your lungs or body--they are pyrrolized by the heat required to vaporize THC and are thus broken down into constituent molecules with different activities than the parent. What you may be finding is that you are allergic to such a "parent" molecule which is broken down either during the curing/drying process or during vaporization of the goodies.

You know that sour diesel gets me bad. I can trim for about 10 minutes, then have to stop and get fresh air till I can catch my breath. I don't smoke, but ingested it, thought I was going to die. It took about 2 days to get back to normal breathing. Starts with hives, sneezing, coughing, then chest tightens up. Obviously this strain I can't do. Anyone know of a mask that helps people with these allergies?

Never an issue with live plants, but then again, I don't get poison ivy, either. I almost ALWAYS sneeze at least once during a vapor session though.

Wow, that sucks. I've never had issues before.

Wear protective clothing and as someone else suggested, maybe even a mask. Allergies tend to get worse, not better over time, so the best way to prevent that from happening is to minimize contact ASAP.

I realize I'm stating the obvious here, but your best bet is to wear sleeves and gloves. I hate allergies!
