And ask everyone... it sure is hot out there, isn't it ??? !!!

Is anyone's plants stretching? Besides the obvious excessive heat causes like requiring more water. Too Hot and excessive humidity usually promotes stretching among plants.

How are things going your way?

Its supposed to let up soon in my neck of the woods. We got off luckier this time, we aren't having it quite as brutal as other parts of Canada.

I noticed B.C is approaching, 50, FIFTY!, damn. That's Arizona kind of temperatures.

You must be giving them plenty of water because they look good. Evaporative cooling from the leaves is the plants response to this heat, and it seems to be working well here. Keep 'em moist.

They get dry as dust near the surface in 24 hours. I pour 8 litres / 2 gallons per plant daily including nutrient day (once weekly).

So far I managed not to stress them out.

24-26 c is bang on ideal Mj loves that. If it climbs far above and it lasts I'd consider a camo cover to hide the sun.

Its peak summer today, it should be downhill pretty soon, as far as the heat goes, pretty soon I reckon.

Stay cool.

My nifty little reservoirs work like a charm. That by containing all run off so it has time to get sucked up and concentrated in the root cluster.

I kind of hope its there pre flower stretch ( I can't tell). But my stash is running low. There should be enough to last a year with the veg time they received. They vegged satisfactory, otherwise the bigger the better =)

Here in MI we've been in the low to mid 90s so I've been watering about twice a week on my outdoor autos. They are on the home front for harvest so they aren't growing much anymore, just ripening at this point.

Arizona?! Where the Sun wipes its ass???

Yep. It's hot here too... but I think the 'back of summer' just broke and we're not going to break 110° again.

Every location must be different its just funny cuz in costal SoCal the Summer doesn't even start to roast until later August and September are the hottest months. Even into October we will get our 90+ days sometimes triple digits. June and July are usually milder just starting to get hot then we get that June gloom cloudy weather by the coast that can last well into July this year has been breezy and cloudy so far but I will be cursing the heat soon enough Im sure. In a month I will be sweating

It starts the wipe from east to west... likes to take its time to finish up. ;-)

Ah this totally makes sense. The further inland you go the colder the winters get so it makes sense that the chill comes sooner in the fall.

We are almost on the same parallel as northern California. If you continue east across the Atlantic there are some of the worlds finest wine grape growing, among other things. Its not a coincidence. Its optimum here throughout the spring and summer months.

But once you drive 45 minutes to an hour north things quickly change. The cooler temps come sooner, so does frost. The further north you travel the worse it gets. September mornings get very chilly. and frost.

We dont usually get frost here until into late October. If were not blessed with a long Indian summer. Yea I like it here. For growing I wouldn't change it for any other place.

High bouts of humidity is common. I guess nothings perfect. By August it usually mellows out.

We got a long drenching of fresh rain. I notice how it makes pot stretch out and looks so healthy reaching out for the following sun.

A few days ago as sun was setting. / they look better by the day to day. growth speeds up exponentially entering these weeks. enjoy out there!

F U heat and storms that come every other day this year. My gals outdoors are holding up well but trying to dry autoflower harvest was a pain.
