When I saw this post it read to me as " Making the switch to watered down overpriced SHIT" Please browse the farm and see what people think about the AN line. IF you find anyone praising it check their history to see what they post about. Most likely they are a noob or a paid rep, neither one should be telling you what to use in your grow.

Y'all can make the switch to topdrip chow dtw and salts.
Do homework by reading my post history, I spell it all out.
I will repeat myself, I spend less than $100 per 1k per year in nutes and additives.

Advanced works good, it don't matter if you go with connie or sensi they both will do the job well bottom line. You just don't need to buy the whole lineup just a few additives and your set. Never had a problem with their bases, only a problem with a few bottles of their additives falling out of suspension. Good luck

The best way to learn is to experiment. If you go with advanced, be careful following the guidelines. Start with half the recommended dose and work your way up. There's a lot of good reading here on nutes and such. Good luck!

A little knowlege goes a very long way when it comes to nutrients. Fisr thing to remember is that all the salts are the same, so why pay so much for them? Jacks is a powder nute, that costs literally pennies per res change. Use it along with Calcium nitrate, a basic fertilizer salt- even cheaper- and you're providing similar or better quality nutes to your girls for 5% of the cost. That leaves a lot of money for things like a good pH meter and EC pen, items you will always need. Even if AN says its nutes are 'pH perfect', don't believe it for a second, as everyone's water is different!

The reason why so many people hate AN so much is because they make their money preying on people with little or no knowlege of what nutrients are and how to use them properly. What I'm trying to say is that for the money you'll spend on AN nutes, you can get equipment, inexpensive ferts AND an education that will get you ever so much further ahead than trying to use stunningly expensive nutes asa crutch.

ya put it nicely my friend, sometimes when people (talking bout me) r still learning to grow we use nut lines that r proven to work. since i'm rookie n i think any 1 growing for a year or less is, i need to learn plants be4 i try n feed em my own mixes so i went with H&G cuz i liked meds i had smoked grown with it.

I started growing using advanced connie so i have quite a bit of experience with them. Advanced bases kick ass but dnt get sucked in with all the additives because they are not needed these are advanced good products imop. connie or sensi , bud candy liquid carboload, mother earth super teas, big bud, over drive, b52, nirvana, bud factor x as a spray not in your feed. and i think thats it if you check out my thread prodigy's big bushes you can see my old feed schedule using this i have 1lb plants easily. Honestly Imop i think you can get just as good results with other products but there gear is good i'm just broke so i'm trying different things any way if you have any question just let me know. oh do not get the rhino skin waste of money silica blast just as good 1/4 the price bud blood is good but open sesami from fox farm just as good 1/4 the price

I got 5 50 lb bags for just over $155, and paid 25.50(too much) for 3 lbs micros.
I got cal nitrate, mkp, k sulfate, k nitrate, epsom, 50 lb each, for that (just over) $155.
Call around and look on the computer until you find a regular chem/ag place that stocks a shitload(pallets/warehouse full) of that stuff for regular farmers until you find prices like that.
You will get bent over having it shipped from chemical supply places.
You will be wanting Jack's micros.
And get a thing of Borax from the store.
You can get unscented epsom from the drugstore.

I can grow pretty unlimited amounts of weed with these 250 lbs of salts.

Hahhaahaha, I am laughing with you. I asked the same question here, no answer, had to do a bunch of homework.
Call big ag places, keep asking questions on where to find shit, eventually one of them will give up the answer.
Took me hours on the phone and internet, but it was so worth it.

Hey I don't know if you have a Wilbur-Ellis up there, but I think it may have been those guys down here that directed me to the place I ended up going to. They are a bigass ag supply place.
