I'm new! Something seems wrong.

Plants look dark green and droopy with leaves slightly twisting.

Plant 1: Gorilla Glue Autoflower - started 10/20/25 (theseedfair)
Plant 2: Gorilla Glue Autoflower - started 10/20/25 (theseedfair)
Plant 3: Purple Lemonade Autoflower - started 10/24/25 (aseedcompany)

-Soil is 80/20 mix Fox Farm Happy Frog/Earthworm Castings
-PH is 6.2-6.3 (slurry method)
-Watering every 4 days or so (Plant 1+2 currently get 4 cups and Plant 3 gets 3 cups)
*Just started using floraflex v1 and v2
-Light is acinfinity 240w 3x3 approximately 20" from top of leaves at 70% intensity

Turn your light down and bump your temps up for starters. I’ve learned the mfg recommendations are not great for light distances and power settings. 20’’ away i would have my light set to like 25-30% at that stage. You can creep it up and see how the plants respond.

I think the issue is watering though. I dont know your soil or nutes so ill digress in giving any advice.

PPFD was at 450-500 depending where i put the meter. (using Photone and the diffuser) I will turn the light down and record what happens.
Thank you!

Theyre dry as a bone, give the big ones more water. You started from seed in big pots right? Once theyre old enough you need to give a good watering, until you get runoff, make sure all the substrate is wet, and before you do lift them, lift them again when you water. Wait until the weight becomes way lighter like before you watering or not much more heavy, that will indicate that they expanded the roots and absorved most of the water, can take up to a week or more, depends on enviromental conditions, mostly humidity and VPD.

Not liking the fan zeroed right at the plants. Especially new plants. Even on sweep needs to be above the plants horizontal and let bounce air move the plants.
Also looks like we did not add any extra perlite to the mix and that is something cannabis really likes.
As others have said the curling leafs are hating the light.
A good resource for growers is available right here. Just mash those 3 horizontal bars up top to the left and navigate to forums and then find diaries.
One in the diaries section use the spyglass to tailor your search with terms like autoflower and fox farms and the nutrient choice. This will pop up past and current grows that are close to what you are running. You can see how folks did stuff and view the pictures of success.
Welcome to the farm and good luck.

For my 7 gallon pots I use approximately 1 gallon per pot. For my 5 gallon pots I use little less, but thats when theyre already well stabished in the soil, judging by the size of yours they didnt need to search for water because you were watering the roots and not the rest of the substrate and thats why theyre relatively small for their age in such pots.

Ok. I will give them a good watering. All 3 are 5 gal pots and I never gave them a “good” watering. Was concerned about overwatering.

Eledin the mixture looks to be poorly amended with minimal perlite. I would be worried with a water until drain off as that has the makings of a pot of mud if he rushes it. I thing the lack of perlite may be an issue. My extra add always shows lots of perlite in the top.

Its happy frog, plenty of people use it even though I dont like how it looks. Never tried it myself but any soil that looks like that I avoid. Maybe he should wait until it dries again but the big watering has to come sooner or later otherwise the roots will take forever to expand.

Also yes using 20% worm castings without perlite doesnt help, that soil is already poorly ammended. The worm castings are great but they retain water like the peat, you need more perlite next time I agree.

Also next time if you wanna buy fox farms soil use ocean forest. Doesnt come with a lot of wood and has more perlite, even though I always add more. Biobizz has 30% perlite if you dont wanna add it yourself, its a good soil for wet enviroments. The rest usually have 10-20% which is too little for me.

I just read "dark green and droopy," stopped there and my mind said, "Nitrogen!" At least if you're looking for a shave and a hair cut from some dude named Occam.

To me it looks more like under/overwatering, The leaves are wilting, probably the root zone doesnt have enough oxygen if he only waters the roots with a bit of water but more often, or probably they just want more water. Could be a bit of N toxicity too, and I wouldnt start feeding them yet. That soil is ammended and the roots have plenty of soil available to colonize, with 3 cups that water wasnt getting deep enough in the pot.

Ah before I forget again, the small one can wait for the big watering until its as big as the others or close. Otherwise it will stay wet forever and she wont like it.

Probably not the best soil to use with synthetic nutrients though... it has organic ammendments. It benefits from the microorganisms that the fertilizers are gonna kill.

I use it as a Starter soil for 30 days and then I start the 6-part GH flora series on them, Turns out great! If I had more time too care for them each day I would switch to Coco.
