The only thing I can say about stamina, and of course we all lose muscle as we get older too....weight training. It doesn't have to be anything crazy, just some basics, every other day...

You wisdom on outdoors growing will be defenetely great to have in the forum and there's plenty of experienced indoor growers here that can help you with challenges that come when being new to indoors if you find yourself in one. I will most likely need some tips when I start growing outdoors, my biggest fear are bugs and fungus.

Congrats on your recovering and beating it. I’m actually the opposite- been growing indoors for the past10 grows, and now trying a plant outside. I use a 4 x 4 tent and normally plant 6 ea 3 gallon pots with an abundant harvest.
I was wondering what type of light source you settled on for your indoor grow.
One suggestion I can make is to buy a net that can be used to keep the plants from falling, especially during the flowering phase, and could also SCROG with it.
