but you did say you're using ION exchange to filter it. That's not real clear because RO and water softening salts both use ion exchange to remove mineral content from the source water. The difference is that RO water is essentially pure like distilled water (zero ppm + whatever ambient particles might be floating by in the air that land on the water surface) and water softening salts leaving sodium in the final softened water. What I look for in a soil mix is something fast draining so that I'm watering every 3-4 days. My go-to pot size these days are tall/narrow 3 gallon fabric pots. I'd have to go back and research my Amazon purchases to be able to tell you specifically what brand. seems I found this out the hardway, still not sure why FoxFarm wouldnt include this chart on on the web page of all the products apart of a trio package, but if I had known I would have bought all 3. Think it possibly to late to go back? kinda late in the flower cycle now.Unfortunately these are designed to work together as in to force you to purchase all 3 of the major bottles for the program. GH Flora series Trio operates the same way. They formulate these so if you don't use all of the nutrients in the routine, you're short necessary minerals. You read all over the internet about people who have attempted to break up these systems and have run into problems doing so. If you follow the basic feed program using the "less = more" approach, a lot of your nutrient imbalances would not be present.

It's certain to help but I can't really tell you for sure how much it will. Thanks for that bit, its good to know.Just for future knowledge, all of the nutrient systems come with nutrient feeding charts. They are usually posted in "support" sections of the website.
Let's just call all of this a learning experience. There's nothing wrong with trying to develop software systems to help in a cannabis grow ... in fact, there's a lot of good to be had with it once you've ironed out all of the bugs and have educated yourself enough to avoid the beginner pitfalls. Growing a plant is easy. Growing craft-level cannabis is not. It takes some time and experience to master it.Thanks for that bit, its good to know.
